maybe because ppl are comparing price with other tablets.. even ipad is cheaper than iphone..

u cant make production cost reflect market price sometime.. well, logically, more resources and materials needed to manufacture bigger device than a small one.. i think its due to consumer's demand..

Added on February 14, 2012, 7:49 pmdownside of i-device: no sd card expansion, and closed system. Even if wanna copy mp3 cannot just simply drag and drop, must sync thru itunes. Tedious. And again, its just a panel of apps launcher. I wonder when will Apple do major revamp of the ui. But still, fanboy can stands the ui for over 5 years now.

Quick review:
First taken it out of box, one word- gorgeous. :-)
Sturdy on hands, very slim and feels premium quality build.
Having rich display similar as Note.
Noticeable heavier than Note. I feels like a tablet more than a phone. But i hvnt try to talk like a bos with it.lol

But one thing i noted, note's display is crispier, i speculate bcoz it have higher pixel density. For example, while browsing webpage, small fonts looks crispier/clearer/better on Note

really, the display is stunning.. exactly the best display on Tab i ever see to date.

its amazingly slim, slimmer than Note. and i like the brushed metal finish at the back, this time Sammy just done it right..

But, still, i see it more as a Tab than a phone.. still torn apart either to keep this Tab or Note; or both.. if i decided to keep both, i might downgrade to wifi version.

how much they sell without plan? and how is the case looks like? coz, like the Note before, got free case also did not use, coz dont like it.. wasted..
