clear kit is okay if you can be bothered to put in some details on the inner frame

I think you might have confused with the name there.. those are the Zeta Plus C1 (the A1 is the test colour a.k.a. the red/white one) and both of them are bought few weeks before the warehouse sales, @RM105 each. one for me, and another for a friend of mine

imo dark coloured kits are easier to hide the nub marks since I can just use the black/grey markers I have laying around instead of looking for the one that have the same colour like red or blue for an example

one word for the Zeta Plus is it's TALL. well, taller than most Seed/00 series.. not sure about UC though, but it's pretty much on par when thinking of what time it was coming from



the transformation is not that complicated, and it have several pegs and notches that is very useful to hold and lock the transformable parts together (unlike some other transformable kits *cough*macross*cough*) so you ended up with a sturdy mecha in either modes (MS/waverider).. one thing to put it off its the articulations is not that great, since it's quite an old kit.. and oh, it does not have waist articulation so the poses you'll be able to do are quite limited.. overall it's a good looking kit

if you look again in the 2nd pic of my post, the Zeta Plus is almost as tall as the the Mk-II, even the legs bend more

in case you didn't notice, the thighs and the arms are more/less similar to Ex-S Gundam

whoa. that one is quite hard to find. and pricey

..if you can get it right. took me several attempts to properly make the parts of my VF-25S fits nicely together in fighter mode. overall it's a good looking kit! sadly not enough skills and tools to make it look better though

and the decals are killing me! been a few weeks after completed the build and I'm only halfway through with the decals

okay. that's one new knowledge acquired

since the mechas (as the name) are mechanicals and not organic, that is unavoidable..

for me the best looking transformable mecha in Gundam universe (both MS & plane-ish mode) is the Delta Plus

hooray for properly coloured clear parts and decent colour separations!

now I'm eager than ever to grab it! never been this excited to get a HGUC kit

that's why lah. at first I wanna stick with "buy first, build first" policy and keep the Jegan ECOAS for later, but since the other two kits are time-consuming (at least for me) MG kits then I decided to go with HGUC Jegan ECOAS first.

I'll try to compile a review and post it here too

why not? include some Lotos and Jegans, then que in some epic battle scene!

I think the current colour scheme already fits the SWAT theme

why not do a military-style colour codes like:
- navy
- air force
- urban camo
- desert ops
- jungle ops
