yeap. looks like currently Bandai is focusing on AGE, Unicorn and EW series.. I'm not saying that there's no possibility for those to get MG treatment, but it might not be very soon for us to see it being released

seems like it. MG Strike is quite an old kit, but so far v2.0 revisions are only done on those very old ones

but of all (if any) future revisions for MGs, I want the RX-78GP01a Zephyranthes

thinking of collecting HG for UC series.. starting with the Jegan ECOAS.. soon to come Jesta, Loto, Unicorn, ReZEL (maybe)...

what to say.. mostly MG focus on hero/main character unit.. not that much spotlight on grunt (a.k.a. blown away in a matter of seconds) units.. previous UC grunts imo looks quite plain.. Unicorn series on the hand looks gooding yo

even a friend of mine who never bothered HGs (he sais it's too small) now is seriously wanna get HGUC from Unicorn like Stark Jegan & Jesta

lemma guess. both acquired from warehouse sale?

it's all a part of the game

btw seen quite a few of reviews for the MG GP01.. looks like Imma wait for v2.0 (if any) lah

if can afford then I don't bother looking for the MG lah

just go on with decals mang. MG Exia's decals are not that many, and not that obvious. it'll still look clean and tidy even with full decals applied

well, you've just missed Litt Tak warehouse sale (they're selling it for a dirt cheap price @RM30) while hobby shops usually sells fo about RM70.. don't bother shopping malls coz the price are ridiculous

your best bet would be searching around the sales thread.. if I can recall correctly there are somebody having it on sale, but not sure if it's still available.. good luck hunting!

Added on September 18, 2011, 2:50 pmhobby spray paints are meant for model kits, and the spray can has a more fine nozzle compared to general use spray paints, resulting in a smoother finish. you can use the "normal" spray paints (@hardware shops for roughly RM10 each) but you might not get the same result as using the hobby spray cans as it can look a bit a rougher

the other alternative would be using air brush but since RM40 is already too much for you, then airbrush set would be an overkill
