Just woke up after I finished my 24 hour marathon stream of MH4. I'm glad that I'm alive.

my thoughts on MH4:
the starting scene tells a story on how the this release has better story line compared to 'you are a hunter, and your job is to fulfill villagers weapon wise, i'm not into the pole-vault-thingamajig, and i haven't tried the SnS-axe hybrid. i use lance (aka poking-stick) for village missions and compared to MHP3rd and MH3G, the block/ counter is relatively responsive but just like MH3G, it still lacks of MHP3rd split-secound-godly-invulnerability during counter-attack setup. counter-attacks to certain monsters would probably fail because of push-backs while guarding (might be due to lack of guard+2 skill). i'm stuck with (spider) bow while online. it introduces 2 action types for bow (or issit gunners in general?) to play: type 1 makes the game-play like t**kiden and type 2 would be the typical bow settings. the newly introduced (power?) shot gives an extra burst. as for the control, i'm not sure whether is my 3DS wearing down (rubbers on both 3DS and cpp are wearing off) or the game itself... IMHO, the game controls are less fluent compared to previous series, especially when multiple buttons are pressed and hold during game play. there are multiple times where i need to do charged shield bash but it ends up with a poke because the directional button fails to comply; there are also few instances character stood when i had move the directional key; also, charged attacks often failed to charge when i hold down R and X buttons. oddly, everything seems to werk well when i starts MH3G. |

How good is MH4 compared to MH3U?
I haven't heard to much good feedbacks about it yet. Good to have some one who isn't bias about the game. I will wait for localization or Wii U version if it ever happens. Right now so many games to play. |

Hi guys,
I played MH since MH1, and Sony platforms. Not sure how good MH4. Trying to buy Used N3DS jap version but seems no one selling it yet. I'm thinking to get them by this end of Month but still in dilemma since MHF G vita coming out next year as well. Is it worth to buy new N3DS just for sake MH4? Or should I wait for the Frontier vita on next year? |

ah should use better words & sentences... what i meant is not worth to come to vita. since it's mmo version which needs constant net connection, thus a bit wierd for it to go to vita... unless crapcom saw pso2 and wanna emulate sega
or they putting it there because of vita tv? anyway, might be true just because of the unique/exclusive monsters in MHFG... |

sigh did you even bother reading my whole post and trying to understand it?
like i said, it doesn't make sense in term of connectivity purpose. to play mhfg you need CONSTANT INTERNET, which either you're using wifi or 3G (if your vita is 3G version) originally Frontier series is on PC, then Xbox 360 which is normally being put inside house with a stable internet. then it ported to both PS3 and wii u before it was announced that it also will come to vita too... the problem is who knows how's the ratio of 3G & non-3G version bought by japanese people (mind you this game is IP lock and ofcourse can easily bypassed) that can justify to play this on vita instead of PS3 or probably on other home console. that's why again i raised the possibility of either Vita TV or PSO2 on Vita makes capcom decided for releasing it on vita too besides, since i never step my foot in japan, who knows if there's practically free wifi everywhere in town or their 3G connection is trustworthy to be used for mmo mind you again (IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN), when the 1st announcement that there'll be mh game on vita, ppl on nico were like 'whoaaa mh on vita', then it is revealed to be MHFG and their instant reactions are 'oh lol it's mhfg' thus, where the heck is the fanboyism is?? give me p3rd tier on vita & i'll download it on day 1 (i bought digital mh4 on 3rd day as comparison) ps. dwelve first into the net to search why not many ppl like frontier series.. andrew did mention some of em already |

QUOTE(kuroneko0509 @ Sep 28 2013, 03:22 AM) Dum dum dum. They are just excited for a MH on Vita and bam FG lol 3G connection games are not really good anyway, anyone who owns a Vita already know this. Playing multiplayer is super laggy and everyone play it on wifi anyway. Idk the fanboyism part, I might have read it in a different way, your previous reply I mean, lol! |
