Waa SA makes you quit. While i'm the other way around, feels alive and kinda new when I tried SA in Ultimate.
Makes the game fun again.

Thinking of getting it. But seen like every one playing it with the circle pad.
Know that can play without it but is the control better with it?
Use to play psp version and already a bit hard to control..
The circle pad is for rotating the camera?

It is way better with CPP. CPP exist because of Monster Hunter btw.
Yes it's for rotating the camera and all, a better experience and a lot easier to hunt Monster with the CPP.
Played the demo without one since the demo doesn't support CPP and it was quite horrible.
Underwater fight is kinda hard without a CPP.

there are people playing it without circle pad, it's optional but still highly recommend to use one
it makes camera navigation response more easy since it's a physical controller, compared to the virual ones in the touch pad
other than that, it also provides extra grip for ur 3ds, especially when u r using non- LL/XL version which is quite uncomfortable to hold

agree with Rei7, MH is way better with CPP although you can play it without. not only does it add an extra stick for camera, it also improves the grip for extended play.

2 new DLC quests are available.....

Switching from Switch Axe to Great Sword. A lot easier to play with GS. If I switch to Lance sure boring, it's going to be to easy. So better choose some hard class

playing with SA from low rank till G rank....dint use any other weapon..coz i love SA...hahaha

each weapon got certain moves that should not be used in multiplayer. staggering or sending your team mates flying is not fun. SA to me is quite disruptive i am ok with being staggered - just don't upswing lah..... i use GS, GS also can upswing. out of courtesy, i NEVER use that move when i am playing with other people.

but but but... hamma user can't really be call a hamma user if there's no SUPER POUND!!!

but funny thing is: when i tried to pound monster's head, sometimes i find amusing to get pushed left and right by non-gs users, especially sns, ds, ls... they should know their weapon can't do much exhaust/ KO damage on the monster and there's a huge mass area call 'BODY'...
dun use block, use dodge

then lance is an interesting weapon to play

if there is a hammer user in the group - then everyone should avoid the head area. that is for hammer user to super pound. if other weapons enter head area and kena fly - it's their own fault

having said that, i once played with a hammer user who kept super pouding the tail while asking us to cut it

Lance is the easiest in my opinion, at least in Tri.

I use SA
I find it a bit slower when I want to attack, so that is why i'm switching.
Great Sword seems a bit fun since it's faster, I always solo. Need to test multiplayer today in Wii U.

Of course dodge, i've played a lot of MH before so I kinda know that already
