It seems nowadays many parents decide not to vaccinate their babies and children, at all.. I wonder any parents here have similar thought and why do u feel so? some links i found stating the "ingredients" of the vaccines... http://www.merck.com/product/usa/pi_circul...i/mmr_ii_pi.pdfhttp://www.merck.com/product/usa/pi_circul...combivax_pi.pdfand some statement i read online QUOTE Vaccines contain weakend or killed viruses or toxoids from bacteria. Depending on the vaccine, and particular brand, they also contain mercury, aluminum, formaldehyde, antibiotics, MSG, cells from aborted human fetuses (human diploid), monkey kidney cells, cow (bovine) serum, yeast, etc. So what do u think? For me....I gave the necessary ones. I didn't give Xander the optional ones like chicken pox, pneumeccocal & rotavirus. I didn't want him to be given too many jabs in a short period of time.
Even the last few jabs..I was worried as they were linked to autism. However, I decided to go with it. I really really prayed very hard....and kept on looking for any side effects of the jab.

U see, having doctors as ur SIL and BIL is not all good.. SIL gave me this huge reaction and told me "not to believe what internet says..." She don't even have a FB account and do not know how to go online..
Then BIL asked me what jabs i wanna give, at that time, baby was 2 months old and i was clueless.. so i just told him... EVERYTHING that is necessary la..
Guess what... I sort of lost count on what jab my baby took! One thing for sure is she took pheumococcal and rotavirus and the usual dtap.
whats the last few jabs u refering to?

just give the recommended and necessary vaccine for your beloved baby.
if can afford, you can go for optional vaccine.
remember, prevention is better than cure. hope nothing happen to babies when we want to save money from vaccine. at the end, they suffer the most if not given proper/recommended vaccine.

I find that it's too much to put into a baby's system..even though it's called a vaccine. And like sbux said....there's lots of ingredients in the vaccine...some contains mercury and so on..so just imagine...you give 3 vaccines....the amount of mercury is injected into your baby's system.

So what are the necessary ones? I was highly recommended by the paed at DSH to give him pneumococcal and rotavirus. I guess I'm not going to take it. Come to think of it, I did not take any but still here asking questions also after 20+ years living.. And btw, where can I send my son for the vaccinations besides DSH? Does normal paed clinics have it the same?

normal GP have the vaccines and its much cheaper than DSH. Who is your DSH paed? Mine is Dr Soh.. she is not bad...
actually, if this vaccines have harmful ingredients, why do the WHO still recommend babies to take them?
