I think can get fibre cement timber look-alike skirting material, if worry abt dampness and termites. I have seen it at an archidex fair 2 yrs ago. Price of course is not cheap.

As for timber, the material alone will cost abt RM3 per foot run can source at Hotrade, Damansara Uptown (same row as TM). RM5 pfr is not expensive.
