currently i was planning for my condo reno.
when i was doing research, i fount this invisible grilles, which is nice and doesn't affect the looks of the exterior.
according to my kc contractor klang valley only got 1 company doing this. http://www.invisiblegrille.com/
and i google i cant find any info about the quality and pricing, so i'm here to ask for help.
according to the website,

it is anti-rust.
it can connect to alarm systems.
it is reasonable price. (how much is reasonable price)

how true is it? only 1 company in klang valley doing this any other company doing this as well?
do anyone install this b4? can share your experience? thanks.

i went to their show house in usj one avenue end of last year. the grill is still visible from outside(100-200m), but not visible from far away. price is around rm16 per sq ft, cheaper than normal iron grill (around rm18 per sq ft) if im not mistaken.
it can connect to alarm system cos the cable can conduct electricity (but its covered by an outer layer - so no harm to user). so, if the circuit breaks (the cable is being cut), it'll trigger the alarm. the cable is very strong, can hold around 200kg tension (around that figure la, cant remember).

Iron grill is between RM 9 to RM 12 per sqft, Wrought Iron is maybe RM 15 +-1 per sqft only. Like i mention in another topic, it feel more like in a cage using their so called "invisible" grill.

I think it can it be easily cut using a bolt cutter but we shouldn't really concern that much, because when it involves a forcible break in, not much can be done..

This invisible grille is more for prevention of kids from falling over the balcony in condos/ apartments.
Not much of a preventing from breaking in.

It is much more expensive than the MS grille. MS grille is only around RM8-9 per sq ft

Yes, it can open. I personally feel it look ugly from inside the house. I prefer normal frill with Horizontal design.

yes, it can be cut by a bolt cutter, but then it'll trigger the alarm. but im not sure the alarm is provided by them or we can use our own alarm system.

yeap, it'll be installed on a different frame, as if like u have 2 doors. this normally used for doors, normal or sliding/folding. not sure can be done on windows or not..

If it use the high tension as alarm detection, is easy to bypass alarm, just short the both end of the high tension cable with longer copper then cut the center.. Done.

If use shock sensor, is even easier, just hold the both end of the tension cable with plier and cut the wire in between. No shock will be detect.

I have installed 5 years back with a invisible grille company called KLIG.
It was recommended by a friend.
I did it for around RM5500 for whole house including windows. My house is Type 3

So far no rust. rclxms.gif

I have installed invisible grille company called KLIG Safety Grille. The price is reasonable and they are friendly.

I have it for about RM16/sqf for my balcony size.

I opt not to have alarm system as the typical alarm system cant be connected to phone apps. does not make much difference.

So far after few year no rust. the price is reasonable rclxms.gif
