I tried both Mamba 3.5G and 4G.
They are totally rubbish.
- Too heavy
- DPI buttons are awkward to reach while gaming
- Bad sensor
- Poor battery life
- A total waste of $$$

I pity any poor soul that thinks Mamba is a gaming mouse when it's only a over-priced over-blinged wireless mouse.
Mamba is for hooligans who love neons and think they're awesome with bling bling mouse.

Mamba is my newly appointed worst mouse ever, Kinzu was the ex-worst mouse.

List of horrible mouse I have ever used:
- Razer Mamba 3.5G
- Razer Mamba 4G
- Roccat Kone
- Roccat Kone+
- Roccat Kova
- Steelseries Kinzu
- Thermaltake Azurues
- Thermaltake Black
- Thermaltake Black Element
*
Me also thinking the buttons at the front of the left click button damn hard to reach (is it really reachable? even for big hands i doubt that...)
And the first thing that comes to my mind when i saw a mamba was... a wireless Death Adder... laugh.gif

QUOTE(Squarebox @ Sep 10 2011, 09:57 PM)
Kinzu v1 is definitely on the list due the worst sensor known to man and crappy switches which fail me after 2 RMA
Kinzu Red is slighter better with OMRON switches but the sensor is still the same crappy one.

Kinzu red will be in my neutral list so it the Xai.
Xai has a good sensor but the side buttons are too small and awkward to reach while gaming and Steelseries software is horrible to program the mouse.

But Kinzu have one very strong point that is it's shape, It's the perfect claw-grip mouse.
I tempted to build the legendary Kinzuadder(mutant of Deathadder internals with Kinzu casing)

CMstorm = Sentinel Advance?
I haven't test that but it would be in the horrible list due to the Philips twin eye sensor.
There are others that I've not tested but probably be on the horrible list such as the Imperator 4G and Lachesis
Cooler Master only makes one good mouse that is the Spawn but it's strictly for claw grip users only.
*
Heard many modders on overclock.net making KinzuAdders (Best shape + best sensor = best mouse ever )
CMStorm Spawn i think is by far the best mouse made by CMStorm as it receives many positive reviews, plus it is a claw-grip type ( my type!!! yay~~~)

i've been using mamba since the launching and has yet to find any problems (except for the squeaking wheel, after RMA'ed twice finally never happen again LOL).

button placement is also quite nice for me. doesn't seem to be unreachable or finger hurting.

i also claw, but for me the kinzu shape is just a little too small...plus the lack of side buttons is a no-go for me.
xai is almost there, and of cos the copperhead...pity razer wont be doing any updates to it...

the xai side buttons, well in-game i only use the one nearest to the palm...so yea no issues here.
same with any razer mouse, only use the nearest...the furthest one i set to on-the-fly sens.

You can buy 2 DeathAdders with Mamba 4G's price.

Me luving mai DeathAdder now, other Razer mouse just throw aside......now tempted to get DeathAdder Black Edition wub.gif

My only issue is the side buttons, quite used to Imperator's adjustable side buttons where you just slide to the front sweat.gif

how to see hand size lol.. i think around m-L
use finger
serious

Abyssus -> Finger grip
Naga -> serious MMORPG but not good for FPS if you lift your mouse(low sens)

Deathadder will be the best for inbetween but I'm not sure if you can finger grip.
I have small hands but claw grip the DA just fine.

R.A.T. 7 is heavy and use the same sensor as the Mamba.
But at least R.A.T. have grip customization and precision aim button.

Imperator is not a good FPS mouse if you lift your mouse(low sens).
The Philips Twin Eye sensor is infamous for the down-left diagonal movement whenever the user lift and put down the mouse.

IMO, Razer should use more Avago 9500 sensor in their higher DPI mice instead of the Philip Twin Eye sensor.

Any mouse recommendation for small hand? (I guess my hands are small, when compared to other LOL).

Using claw grip. except Razer Orochi, Imperator seem good..
Never tried R.A.T before, is it really good? seem like not really comfortable due to a lot gap on the mouse.

Currently using Logitech M950, a bit huge for me, my hand cannot covered the entire mouse, my index finger can only reach half of the scroll wheel when using claw grip.

i have a claw grip, and i use DA fine.
i was using the xai before this, another claw grip mouse, and the size of the xai butt suprisingly is almost the same as the DA.

I claw-grip my DA too even with my small hands.
Abyssus lacks the side buttons which I need but the Abyssus makes a great laptop gaming mouse.
