ahpingko: most lcd monitor has this marketing super saturation thingie, that boost native 5000:1 contrast to 10000:1 thingie, OFF it. and make sure the color profile is not what text, movie etc, its supose to stay neutral.

most laptop tend to side towards cooler temp/tone. but it doesnt bother mean, but careful when u push red in skintone on laptop... on pc might look super red.

fansoption: IPS also need calibrate. sad.gif

i am using LG IPS236V...how to off that boost contrast thingy??..lol...and i am using that sRGB...not that Movie/Photo/Text/Etc... if i want to change the setting for the colors, i should change for the monitor or graphic card?... rclxub.gif

lwiliam, thanks for the feedback.....got laot more to learn..

ahpinko, u selling ur 30mm macro ka???

fansoption, depend on your use, but I would prefer 85mm for portrait shots....tested my frens one, very easy to use MF, because the dof can be seen clearly!! not an issue to hit tack sharp focus...and if ur on a580 u can use the focus check LV thingy......

sold jor...and bought fishy lens... tongue.gif thumbup.gif

lwliam: Unless you get an Eizo you'll find out-of-box monitors to all be uncalibrated. Even the Macs.

ahpingko: We can TT and you can try my Samyang 85mm F1.4.
*
wow!..thats great...btw, do u have calibration tool?

QUOTE(fansoption @ Oct 3 2011, 06:53 PM)

haha. just shoot until u get the right explosion haha!
*
lol... explosionexposure....

u may try to increase by stops for your first try..then can start learn from there...basically no any fixed value for that...all based on the angle and surrounding and your camera settings...just learn from try and error first..next time u will be able to predict it more accurately...*from my experience la*

Zicron: Thanks! Updated the front page.

liquiddog: Nice catch in #2! I'd prefer #7 over #6. Also, rather interesting color tone you are putting out...

NutZ748: No, because there are two mirrors so nothing is reversed.

ieR: LOL!

lehtung: Yes it would, since the A77 has a physical remote port.

ahpingko: I like #2. #4 is a bit more on time than #1... #1 like just a short moment after the smile.
*
huh?...so which is correct?..we need to take just the moment after the smile or ngam ngam during the peak of the smile?..lol..
