btw, the price drop claim, please state it nicely, i also can say because i buy 70200G+1635+2470+135+85, super combo package + special discount, and i have 5 rm300 coupon, after deduct, my A77 i only pay rm300.... that isnt the right way to count it right?

1650 definately has goodness in it, with SSM, weather seal etc, but some of us, doesnt has the budget to go for it, so we settle with tamron, dont say tamron not good, because, my tamron (which i sold off) was one of the sharpest tamron around, few people touched and tested it, they know. even zstan's camera after calibration, his tamron as sharp as 16105 (i dare to claim it!) tamron seriously is not that bad. because u didnt try it, or read the reviews of tamron which is the canon/nikon version (which sucks) u cannot compare it with sony's mount version.

the 1650 is not at 2k, that is bundle price which usually is a 20% off from RRP (like A550+1680, the 1680 was valued at 2400), so the RRP is not that low. and i will know speculate the prices (or price drop) without solid proof (even thou i know the 1650RRP price)

count so deep also no use, i know a lot uncle, friend who just buy from sony center with the rrp price, the rm200-300 cheaper street price dont bother them, because importantly, they get to use it already... and u are still there waiting for durian to drop.

i think my total shutter count reach 200,000 u still not yet get ur camera.

Guys before you flame jimlim007, have you made your rounds in Bukit Bintang? I can find the A77 body only for RM37xx quite openly. The RM38xx on the first page is a pessimistic figure.
