hello bros want to confirm if my laptop can support eGPU... chances is i can only do mpcie x1 coz i don't have slot...
my specs is as follow
Model: Asus X42jr
Processor: intel i7 Q740 @ 1.73
Ram: 4gb
Gpu: Ati Radeon Mobility HD 5470
OS: Windows 7 Home x64

no idea how to determine switchable graphics and etc.... any help would be greatly appreciated... main reason for doing is because the only thing that is killing my laptop is the GPU others are all performing quite reasonable for todays standard along my requirement..... just need the GPU boost to do some gaming on my free time rather than paying thru my nose for a new rig which i can't spend alot of time on....

thanks in advance !

I roughly know bout that and willing to reposition/disable wifi for that purpose... I saw on another website someone did it with the same laptop but the post is very old.
I can barely cope with low settings on mmo games ~_~
This is the only option to prolong my laptops lifespan lol!
Pls advice smile.gif
