Guys need to ask you all something.

This morning I woke up my phone has the battery and exclamation mark. Not sure why. I can't boot up my phone even after battery pull. What should I do and what is wrong with it?

Imagine off the phone while charging has the battery sign right? The exclamation mark on the bottom right of the battery.

My asphalt 6 is the wcg one from samsung apps.....it is smooth when it is a narrow road and moving slowly, but if got 1 or 2 other cars and wide road, lags like shit, also lags when the map is big

And I did update to KH2 through Kies...the only racing game that runs smoothly is the GT Racing Academy and the old raging thunders..

My phone is still stock and unrooted...someone suggested in xda that rooting and using tegrak to lock the GPU speed...some people lag, some people cannot run, and some people run smoothly....wtf
*
Asphalt 6 has no issues on my phone. Smooth like shyt. You can try this but not sure if that works. Try OC to 1.4ghz and see if that works.

QUOTE(Fallenangelz @ Sep 10 2011, 12:28 PM)

if without rooting, is it this phone really useless?
*
First of all. I feel this question is a little 'funny' shakehead.gif

1. If the phone need rooting, why did Samsung actually release this phone?
2. Have you read that people saying phone not rooted and is useless?

Therefore, if you want 'extra' flexibility, then rooting is your choice.

ppl root their phone is to get full access to their phone's system to tweak their phones , making it better . For SGSII , standard rom is consider very good so rooting is not required unless u wanna go custom rom or do any customization .

Forgot to add , if someone tells u without root , the phone is useless , ask him/her to think logically , if this phone is useless since stock is not rooted , how the hell SGSII sold so many units within a short time period ? Samsung is not a "fruit-cake" u know  tongue.gif

Fruit cake....HAHAHA! laugh.gif You made my day bro notworthy.gif

thank you...

how about for battery saving apps ? which is the best to use ?
*
Juice defender but you need to learn and configure yourself. Downloading it doesn't help you. Configure does.

The best is still self control and manually. Nothing beats that.

how come when i checked at my task manager, theres no apps running but when i checked at advenced task killer theres a lot of apps running. after i kill or force close the task and apps, few minutes after that i check it the closed apps is running again without my permission.
*
Just don't too crazy with such la. Android is smart enough to close its own task. There are services and programs. Programs can close safely but when it comes to services, clsoing might cause phone error like reboot etc.

One thing I notice about Swype (I am using 3.25 Beta) is that if you are using the English + Chinese version, even though if you are only using English (never select Chinese at all) it still consider the whole SMS to be in unicode (is this correct?) and only have 70 words at one SMS. A normal English SMS should have 160 words isn't?

How to solve this ah?
*
Sms has 160 spaces not words smile.gif

i flash over previous stock rom. old rom was just stock kh3 2.3.4, then i flash litening rom via odin, didnt do any wipes or anything

should i flash to speedmod kernel? some are saying it has better battery life. 1 more thing, at speedmond thread, why are they two kernels, t32 and t39?

edit: 1 last question(srry for annoying everyone  sad.gif but im still a noob), at the exynos extreme rom page ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1153826 ) why is there 3 methods of installing the rom? should i use the very first time install instructions or how to install exynos (wipe) instructions?
*
To install that, all way is the same. Depends on what you like but for me, I always lvoe installing using CWM recovery.
