QUOTE(nordingh @ Oct 25 2011, 10:37 PM) Sad to say, I really disappointed with Fiio E10 built quality. The headphone jack ring bigger that normal, make the 3.5mm audio jack a bit loose and easy for inner tip 'spring' to kick out the jack. If I play a bit the jack, I can hear some noise like spark. The line out jack better than headphone jack thou. Jack for E3, E5 and E11 don't have this kind of issue. Fiio E10 can't deliver a good bass to my Samson SR850. QUOTE(E1 - AKG @ Oct 25 2011, 11:01 PM) Remember above complaints... AND YES.. see some improvements Fiio done. ![]() smaller hole and gold plated now. @wkkm007
Based on this video and this site, when the netbook is powered off or in sleep mode, you can connect any source to the netbook's mic-in and make use of the internal speakers. Question is, can the netbook do the same when it's turned on? If it can, E10 and E17 should be usable. |

QUOTE(Agnaem @ Dec 31 2011, 06:29 PM) @wkkm007 I think can't. When I turn on my netbook the 'sleep-and-music'-speaker no sound already. source: ipod touch - 3.5 male to 3.5 male cable - netbook sleep-and-music/mic in-line jackBased on this video and this site, when the netbook is powered off or in sleep mode, you can connect any source to the netbook's mic-in and make use of the internal speakers. Added on December 31, 2011, 11:20 pmI can use any amp/dac but need via sleep-and-music function, can't use netbook as source. This post has been edited by wkkm007: Dec 31 2011, 11:20 PM |

QUOTE(nordingh @ Dec 31 2011, 11:38 PM) Ya sure? It's made to receive an input from mp3 player and whatnot. What's more for the internal SC to do? I thought Toshiba made it to work as line in i.e. as in straight to the speaker's amp when in this mode. Now that you mention it, Toshiba could have made it mic-in -> ADC -> DAC -> AMP -> speaker. Anyway, not that I'm particularly interested in knowing how it works. Since wkkm007 said it's useless when the laptop is turned on, case closed. |
