yes BUT there's no fixed tone assigned to it. you can hear many version of おはいよ in conversation, no?

in Chinese, green is 青 which normally people use for words like green grass. even Chinese school use this word to indicate Green House (eg, the houses that the students are part of for sports).

however when it comes to describing rainbow, Chinese school use 緑 for the green part of the rainbow. I just realize that. LOL. yes I'm from Chinese school.

typically ask any local Chinese what is QING 青 they'll tell you it's green. ask them LU (not loo) 緑 and they'll say it's a variant of green. unfortunately that's how people describe it.
