Review of 60,000km service:
1) Liqui Moly 10w30 Engine Oil - RM120
2) Bosch Oil Filter - RM7
3) OEM Cabin Filter - RM30
4) OEM Air Filter - RM11
5) Threebond Air Conditioner - RM45
6) Lambda Primer - RM40
7) P2 ATF 3litre - RM57

Throw in Lambda Primer before oil change. When flushing out the engine oil, it was very black, not sure that's the effect of Lambda Primer or my change interval was 10,500km tongue.gif

Apply threebond but not much effect afterall. During the process, only some white smoke come out, maybe my engine still clean sweat.gif

Ok now lets talk about liqui moly 10w30 engine oil. The oil is dark grey color, just like the chinese sesame dessert soup we use to eat. Slightly thicker than normal P2 oil, even it is the same viscosity. Result? Slightly slower pick up! The engine sound seems more rough too sad.gif I was using Eneos 5w30 before this.. I prefer Eneos though, more responsive, engine sound more refine, and cheaper - RM110. As now, I haven't see any significant advantage of this special oil yet sweat.gif

The rest of the stuff I just use the normal cikai brand, since it is cheap and won't make much difference.

ATF wise, better use back original P2 oil. The culprit of gearbox performance is to reduce heat. If you want to improve the responsiveness of the auto gear box, install a ATF cooler will gain much significant result than changing special ATF. In fact, if wrong ATF use, say goodbye to your gearbox tongue.gif

Conclusion, spend so much money but ended up performance improvement is not significant at all, and even slower pickup due to the engine oil I choose moneyflies.gif moneyflies.gif moneyflies.gif

Hi, Is ATF T-IV can be use on alza auto? I saw that ATF T-IV is not compatible with ATF-D3, and Alza is using ATF D3.
However, some mechanic says that T-IV is ok to run on it.
BTW, Alza auto is running on A4LB-1 transmission right?
*
i read that some alza owner used that toyota ori oil, seems ok..

I stick back to ori ATF D3 oil because it won't make the car run faster nor smoother.. rather spend on tyres and other stuff

how much? any spec or model name ?

Bought from Edy last time.. RM150 I think..

I just bought another normal bosch brake pad about RM50, haven't tried yet..

I nowadays not so crazy about optimising the car oledi.. just use the lowest cost to maintain it.. oledi fed up tongue.gif

No matter how I mod, the car definitely won't become RM100k car..

Anyway I am having fun drive with my Alza on city driving, much better than my wife's civic 2.0 2010.. because i can just kasi hantam lubang and easier to accelerate within short distance..
