Bring in benhayun for what, so many player can play that position already... If arteta get injured which he will at some point who gonna replace him?? Short of creative player.

Jenkinson will for sure get 0 votes lol Anyway think I'll register a null vote. Simply because there is no way of knowing which is the best buy till the end of the season when the numbers register...

My names still not on the list =/

Really ecstatic to see our current defence lineup, especially with santos ready to barge forward as clichy always did!

Im gonna quote this again... Last nite i already did... Then SG also did it...

I know what you like.
I know what you want.
You want a signing.
And when you get one, you’ll wish it was taller.
And if it’s taller, you’ll wish it was faster.
And if it’s faster, you’ll wish it was stronger
And if it’s stronger, you’ll wish it was more experienced.
And if it’s experienced, you’ll wish it was better with the ball.
And if it’s good with the ball, you’ll wish it was English.
And if it’s English, you’ll wish it was better value.
And if it’s a good value, you’ll wish it played a different position.
You won’t get consensus from Arsenal supporters until the club sign XI new players in every position, all world class, youth prospects, on the cheap, who are tall, powerful, adept with the ball, experienced, English, and childhood supporters of the club.
And then you’ll wish we hadn’t signed so many players.

FU.... Arsenal fans r hard to pls. Jeeeez

i personally favour gervinho since ive seen him perform and tbh, he was really impressive during the game in udinese. hes brings this somewhat breath of fresh air to arsenal's game. whenever he has the ball i always get excited and feel like something is going to happen when he attacks.

the next one should be mertesacker and arteta. both are equally experienced, mertesacker for his international games and arteta for his the number of epl games under his belt. (not forgetting the number of accolades he has received including everton's player of the season 05-07)

benayoun would be among the top 3 if it wasnt for his injury records.

tbh, ive never really seen chu young or santos play so ill reserve judgement later. jenkinson so far has shown determination and potential but he still has ALOT to learn.

3rd choice gk. lol, he can play for the reserves brows.gif

Added on September 1, 2011, 1:37 pmwhat surprises me also is that arteta is willing to join arsenal for a 20k pay cut. also, its kinda weird that a higher tier club like arsenal is offering lower wage than a lower tier club like everton.

Our wage structure is as such that players approaching30 will have lower salary unless otherwise specify. Thats what aw is trying to change so tat we can compete in open market.

The lure of champ league football is just to greeat to pass by.

lol, some poo team is underestimating our ability to be title contenders after this transfer window and are unimpressed by our new signings. meh, at least Arsenal plays better/entertaining football and dont rely on referees to win games. rolleyes.gif

after all the hype over the transfer window, one thing for certain is arsenal will not pay over the hill
transfer fee for any player. Certainly believe this club has a very good future. when clubs like mc and Chelsea run into financial troubles, our club will be ready to take over their best players.
