no i haven't buy yet, but i can't find a caddy thats the problem. Even if i got a ssd i can't do anything without a caddy lol.
*
Even not available in Lowyat?
I doubt to get an enclosure for SSD and put it in ODD place or put it in HDD place and get a enclosure for HDD and make it an external HDD.

i wanna make it one ssd and one hdd xD. ODD can use it as external xD
*
I am going to go Lowyat after fixing the problem to buy somethings and I will ask to find it also.
But I think it is better to put the SSD instead of HDD and put HDD instead of ODD because SSD do not heat palm rest as much as HDD.

Will you experience screen flicker after a long term usage?
In my whole day from morning 8AM until late night 12am, the screen start flicker a few times every hour.
*
I experience it in power saving mode and I do not know what is it probably setting the brightness with what is in it because when I do not change the anything there is no screen flicker.

No for me it is not rare just when I put the laptop in power saving mode it start to set the brightness for every page which I open I think.
@Kevin If can test it but the room must be dark to see it better and you must use battery.

Added on September 12, 2011, 2:30 pmWhile playing music on the background and multitasking (browsing, exploring folder), does anyone notice there is an interruption to the sound? I've often heard a "fast pause, like a short buzz sound" when I'm opening new tab or exploring some folder and going back. Is this normal? It's kinda irritating doh, as the sound can be heard clearly.
*
yea I had this problem but just in gaming or power saving mode
I have installed the latest audio driver and now it is OK but the driver is not available on ASUS Website.

they didn't state is sata 3 or 2 or what. Just with sata interface.
*
Apparently every laptop has a special enclosure and some of them mentioned about Sata interface which it is 2 or 3 and that is why I said it is better to put your HDD instead of ODD because Sata 2 is good enough for HDD but not for SSD.

*
So if we order all of them we have to pay 1 shipping fee?
Are you sure they are suitable for this laptop?
