It's a matter of personal preference, but I would not recommend polished tiles for kitchen top, unless it's only for light use. Reason is that polished tiles will show up scratches easily. I'm using matt surfaced tiles for my wet kitchen top, and planning to put granite or quartz on my dry kitchen top.

Homogeneous means the same colour through the body of the tile, so your tile in the pictures above appear to be non-homogeneous.

RM22 per 600x600mm for the Aludra Black is good price. I bought mine at RM23 per piece. I am using for my toilet counter tops.
