may i know which one suitable for kitchen top?
yesterday the contractor install the median vitrified tile (made for china, AA grade, polished black color with gold and silver dot) for kitchen top which tile provided by the contractor...most the corner are broken and peel (not sure whether bad workmanship) and got scratches on tile...confirm is not tile malfunction coz the scratches is continous with another tile...
i told contrator, i cannot accept this job...i'm not yet use, already scratch, later i use broken tile and scratch it with knife, screw driver, etc.....no scratch at all, got also those fine line...but the scratches made by the contractor are quite deep with white color line...
may i know which type of tile really suitable for kitchen top? what is nano coating?
what i want is scratch resistance or not easy to scratch, heat resistance and watermark resistance?

It's a matter of personal preference, but I would not recommend polished tiles for kitchen top, unless it's only for light use. Reason is that polished tiles will show up scratches easily. I'm using matt surfaced tiles for my wet kitchen top, and planning to put granite or quartz on my dry kitchen top.
Homogeneous means the same colour through the body of the tile, so your tile in the pictures above appear to be non-homogeneous.

I need to come up with a decision soon between granite and quartz, but can't make up my mind and still hesitating between this two types of material for the kitchen top. Any comment and suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

From my limited knowledge Homogeneous Tile = Porcelein Tile, The material are the same fron top to the bottom. Full Bodied/Half Bodied = The top colour material are the same Full or only Half in to the tile body. From your picture does not look like homogeneous.

You will notice light scratches if you use either of these materials but the can be polished off though I haven't found someone who can do it yet.
