QUOTE 21.25 What’s this now? Arsène Wenger has got over his strop and realised that making a point with Everton over their attempts to wring as much out of the Mikel Artetadeal as possible would be some sort of pyrrhic victory, leaving him with a midfield as short on creativity as it is on steel and mental fortitude. The deal is BACK ON. For now at least. |

I can't believe Moyes has stayed so long with the mess that is Everton's finances and board room. He deserves better. I think that's quite true. Moyes is no doubt, a quality manager. He has been carrying Everton to the mid table non stop despite all the financial difficulties and having to sell most of his star players. He's been very strong in motion against Rooney's transfer and also Jack Rodwell. Many other stars are getting pulled out of Everton and Moyes left no choice due to the financial restraint. |

it seems that why the deal is back on:
Sky: Reports from the Emirates suggest that AFC deal for Arteta is back on - after Arsene Wenger personally intervened. |

9.30pm: Ninety minutes left before the transfer window shuts. Something worthwhile has to happen. Right? Right?
