QUOTE(rest @ Nov 10 2011, 02:17 PM) Haha if change tyre next time by myself i think i just look for used one. Not just tyre thread % bro, also need to make sure tyre is not that old... Better don't go beyond 3years old tyre... Usually the tyre thread is alot, but then the tyre is keras already.. Same like expired tyre lar...Rm1xx only 1 piece..80% left. Added on November 10, 2011, 6:25 pmJust went back from foaming my car with 1 of the trader in this forum... Kevin from Eco Asia Global... Very friendly trader... Will update in the effect after a few days... The foam need around 3 days to fully hardened. This post has been edited by ikiey: Nov 10 2011, 06:25 PM |

QUOTE(rest @ Nov 10 2011, 07:35 PM) isit?Erm need to ask the seller the tyre use for how many years already?I think is imported tyre. Bro, every tyre have code on it's sidewall... B4 u buy used tyre, u should check it's sidewall urself... Theres 4 digit code somewhere at the sidewall, e.g. 3010 <--- this code means the tyre is produced during the 30th week of the year 2010 which means the tyre was manufactured around middle of august 2010... 2511 <--- this code means 25th week of year 2011.... If u ask the seller, for sure they will say the tyre is this year's tyre... But, frankly speaking, that's quite impossible... Y will any1 trade in a relatively brand new tyre if the tyre is in such a good condition rite...??What is the function of foam actually. thanks Foam is actually used to increases the rigidity of ur chassis... Just like bracing up ur car's chassis with struts / brace bar... Effect of foaming-up ur car is about the same as using strengthening bar... To help the chassis maintain the suspension geometry, hence better cornering, braking etc... This post has been edited by ikiey: Nov 10 2011, 07:47 PM |

Planning to Change SPORT RIM 15 inch and change GAP adjustable Shock Absorber with Spring Set soon. This will cost me another around RM3.5K. I mod my car at Klang. Cheaper and reliable GAB adjustable...?? Didnt that comes with the springs already...?? Or u mean GAB sports absorber...?? That 1 comes with the absorber only, without springs, but only cost rm700 without springs... If u says around 3.5k, that is the SS series, height adjustable n also soft hard adjustable...My car very dirty now. Wait for me wash and snap some photo show you the undercarriage. What sport rim you are using now? Im using advanti 15"... Bro, if add undercarriage reinforcements as per u did, how much does it reduces the ground clearance...? |

QUOTE(ccy1989 @ Nov 11 2011, 11:00 PM) White maybe... IMHO, if u choose black wouldn't really see difference of SE and normal 1.3... SE have all those black-out B-pillar, foglight background, front bumper intake, n those rear diffuser style.. If black, than all those black-out portion hilang already blend with the body black colour... But, ofcourse black is easier to maintain than white...This post has been edited by ikiey: Nov 11 2011, 11:11 PM |

Somehow i realize that white is more sexier compare to black.....but have to consider the fact that if you have chosen white, you will need to be more hardworking in maintaining it |

Cuz surely there will be colour tone out a bit... Usually that's what will happen if u repaint panel only... Itz really hard to maintain same tone, even if u send repaint at perodua...guys and gals, which workshop/perodua workshop have good workmanship and quality in knocking back + spray paint with cheap price in KL & selangor (near KL area) ? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by ikiey: Nov 12 2011, 08:05 AM |

QUOTE(AhBoy~~ @ Nov 15 2011, 12:01 AM) U mean bigger as in larger diameter or wider spare tyre as those on all 4 corners...?? U should know, that the spare tire is only meant as limping tire. Not as a replacement n then drive as usual... Its just meant for when u got puncture, u replace with that spare tire, n then go straight to the nearest tire shop to replace/tampal the punctured tyre...But, if u r running on 17" or 16" rims, n then u should find a spare tyre that is atleast 16" or 15" in diameter respectively... |

It should be there... Or u should ask ur SA... Sometimes they take it out, but then when deliver the car to the customer, they forgot to put it back... But usually that happens to the exterior of the car, not the interior... Just check back with them then..
