it is true. Manual is way way better in fc. My sis 2007 myvi sxi full tank 37l max to penang is 550km. but city driving is 400km +/- only. So the range is quite big. That's 14.9km/l.
On the other hand, my myvi 1.5se auto so far 330km only city driving. On both fuel ups.

Hi guys i just picked up my new 1.5 SE with multimedia yest. i pump rm 50 ony got range of 281. fuel light was blinking wen i picked it up thou. was showing avg 4.1 when i picked it up but when goin to work today got around avg 7.7
total distance travelled so far since refueling is around 50km. compare to my 2.0 V6 that gets 240km for rm 50.. i find the fuel consumption for my new car quite high...considering 1.5 engine + small car
cud it be a problem? i also realised the boot and doors need some extra effort to close or wont close properly...any1 suffering the same or is it common for Malaysian cars? my 1st malaysian car btw. lol
build quality looks good for now thou..

Congratulation on your new car. For new cars, it is common that it needs extra effort to close the doors. New weatherstrips

My 1st Malaysian Car too Anyways, regarding the Fuel Consumption. It's normal for new cars to have high fuel consumption. It takes time to go normal. It should be fine after the 1000KM Service. Anyways, Feel free to register your name into the owner list by using the format provided in the 1st post & page . Thank you This post has been edited by Area51SE: Nov 1 2011, 12:11 PM

u guys keep saying rm50 fuel... But the fuel price now is no longer same as last time.. rm50 only give u 26 litre of fuel .. Ur myvi full tank is 40 litre.. So check it by the litre is much accurate.. and dont just pump 50 .. Pump ur fuel full.. Untill the trigger auto jump.. i dont know bout u guys.. If i pump full, i easily get 490 for rm57 which is 30 litre.. Still got 1 bar.. And only pump during d morning plus keep ur tyre pressure in check.. I pump mine 220 for fw and 210 for bw

So how was your rpm level when your car reach 110km/h? please state your car Manual or Auto gear. Just want to know either my gear box got problem or not. High rpm = high fuel consumption Added on November 1, 2011, 4:30 pmQUOTE(rahas @ Nov 1 2011, 03:49 PM) My figure is base on meter and on stock car. meter is not accurate. They normally calculate base on your speed, engine on duration and also the distance you drive. Correct me if i am wrong. Because i drive others continental car, when on high way it will up to 13km/liter. Stuck in traffic jam will be drop to 8km or 9km/liter, This post has been edited by csk3984: Nov 1 2011, 04:30 PM
