Guys, I have a suggestion to spice this thread up a notch. Since it is called "Art Attack" why not make it look like one. With exception a few, this thread is slowly turning into "Doodle Attack". I find couple of works here that I just itching to re-make my own. Everyone can do the same and let see who is better (of course with critism and critiques). Of course there should be some rules to follow. One such rule I think of now is those who wish to see their work re-make should put in a word like "Doodle" to give us the permission.

U guys should stop it with the doodle thing,I came here by the purpose of seeing what local people are capable of,if I go Deviantart,how to search for Malaysian made one,all pages are occupied by other country.If u guys keep posting doodle,how can I know what u guys can do,what can Malaysian are capable of.

just request for one but no restriction ler. too strict, where the fun of it. if you still want to have a complete end arts, why dont open a new thread with the restrict rules instead? ^^;; doodle also fun to be look at i like to see agito doodle of sexy girl and use it as references to go on further with my own style. though i throw in tong sampah coz it turns out to be sucks xD since my skill still damn newbie

edit: if you guys mau few name with quite awesome complete work, i can point some of my friends. though most of them more into anime/manga character =X

tiny bit of overlay only me thinks. overlay for color messes up the values so i don't use it much. color wash then opaque paint on normal layer works better.

im able to emulate the lightbox method on photoshop
but not the control of the strokes
i tried to make a pencil brush
but it differs too much from the real one
do you still do it manually or digitally?
i have not tried to do a pencilling work before but i'm still exploring it how do it

the edge does looks like pencil
im still looking for brushes that i can create tasteful strokes

here's what i did with my brushes
i load the natural brushes for photoshop
took the chalk brush
apply other dynamics and texture
it does work,but the line isn't define enough as if the pencil is blunt

it's my method that i normally use for my cg doesnt apply to it

but theres something i want to learn thru the way of a penciller work
because they can create and render out the detailness which i have been lacking out all these while
