I feel sad for Chelsea fan.. They cannot accept the fact that missing an open goal was far worst than missing a penalty.

Obviously, Rooney slipped, nothing to do with his stronger foot, nothing to do with a 1 on 1 situation or whatsoever.. Torres' miss was unbelievable, with the quality he is, he should've burried it, and remember, he dribble it by his own will, if you play football or even futsal, you'll know that in a game like that, with the chance/risk you're taking (in Torres' case, avoiding De Gea) you can imagine the way you're gonna score the goal. (unless its a tap in)

One thing for sure, for a moment we looked nervous and sometime switched off. So what'll happens if we really switched off for the whole game? Surely our FANS will go 'told you de buy snaider u dun wan' or sumthing laugh.gif

The game was even, we had our chances (the pole, the crossbar, the misses) and they had their chances, (the open goal, the skinny goalkeeper) and not only determination, hardwork, LUCK and form can win us game, but also the class and the spirit of the team, the harmony..

of coz the talking point remain torres miss it but de gea did good kept making the run.. every GK should done the same but some did not. some GK would just jump and fall to the ground. DDG was clearly beaten and likely dont hv any chance stoping a shot but he kept running

Yea was looking at the replay repeatedly... I was even thinking, how if Torres really had his shot on target? Would DDG make a save? Seems like he can still dive over there... it's Torres only afterall rolleyes.gif

Of Ronaldo and Nani, I think Nani now already > Ronaldo during Ronaldo's era at OT. We used to focus our attack on Ronnie and even put him as our striker to make him scores, while Nani, while scoring and and assisting, played with so many focus point to pin out too. Rooney is our main target I believe, and now we have players like Young and Chicharito, players wont give ball to Nani alone, they have other targets too. smile.gif

And of Evans, I pity him also. Vidic always kena like that with Torres, nobody complaint? That fella told us to see the match and did he ever saw our match against Torres before? doh.gif That's his quality, that's why people buy him. And after scoring he's getting a lotttt of confident again..

that is until he scounder that open goal laugh.gif

Frankly speaking every keeper would have does the same... that talking point would be Torres miss it completely rather than De Gea make it hard for torres... but if you die die wan give credit to DDG i think the save against ramires would be a better shout... yeah we know Ramires shot straight at him but a save is still a save i think he deserve more credits there then Ramires miss...

Still in the end Sir Alex Ferguson is the one who picks the team and make the decisions, not the fans.
