QUOTE(Shufflerz @ Dec 6 2011, 12:59 AM)
This is what I said earlier on.

Fighting gamers can actually feel the lag while inputting commands for moves.
Personally I don't take ghosting effect too much in my concern as I put input-lag as main priority.
I'm not saying that the U's and P's suck, they are good, but for different purposes.
Yes the brightness and the contrast may be vary but barely noticeable.
Note that I've compared all of them side by side:

- U2312HM
(People's champion | IPS 8ms | Arguably the best LCD so far, in term of price and performance)
Hi, I'm planning to get 2 or 3 U2312HM to do Eyefinity set for MW3, is this a good setup for FPS games ??

My graphic card have 2 DVI and 1 DP port...

Thanks

Any idea why the U2412M (LED backlit) is so much cheaper than the older U2410 ?

Price is 899 vs 1699, that is a BIG price differences..

Finally ordered two U2312HM from Dell, quite fast, ordered on Tue morning, items arrived at my place on Fri noon..

I put 1 monitor in landscape mode for normal use and the other on portrait mode for viewing documents and portrait pictures... putting in portrait mode, the monitor is really really tall..

As I put my monitor on top of a IKEA DIY stand like this ( http://www.ikeahackers.net/2012/01/12-monitor-stand.html ), previously using LG 22" LCD , the viewing angle is quite narrow and colour changes if I view it while leaning back on the chair..

With the U2312HM, no more such issue..

Viewing e-book / e-mag in portrait mode is superb experience...

I got 2 units, main screen in landscape and 2nd unit in portrait mode...
