if possible the port should be facing downward

i've found these 2 atm,
asus vs239n or Dell U2312HM
i've read some ppl's complain about the ghosting in u2312hm..
which 1 is better?
is there any other recommendation?

1 more question, does vga input has any difference compared to hdmi in terms of picture quality(text's sharpness) and ghosting?
