any recommendation on which IPS panel to use. It seem like Dell is preferable. any difference between the 24' & 27' Ultrasharp monitor? I meant not the price.
What is the meaning -Color gamut 82% (CIE1976) on 24' compare to -Color gamut 110% (CIE1976) on 27'.....
I want a monitor to be able present the colors correct for a photo and translate that to a printer!

QUOTE(newuserex @ Sep 14 2011, 04:34 PM) If you are into photography, bigger monitor is better & if you are into IPS monitor, you just made the perfect choice. For color, you might want to calibrate your monitor to suit your need. thanks newuserex. now got wait for Dell special offer price to get one!

the last time i saw U2711, an additional discount of RM 500 was given.
yes U2412 is the cheapest but hv to get calibrator worth around RM 400. but also notice difference in the term Color gamut 82% vs 110%
I think bigger the better more view in editing photos!

agree with u guys! this talk of LED and LCD, are all marketing n promo talk. One should understand the primary purpose of the monitor i.e. game, photo editing or movie than choose the best display for it own use.
For me will be photo editing, just hv to wait for dell to give special pricing on the 27'

QUOTE(justin0379 @ Sep 15 2011, 06:54 PM) thats cool, nice and simple. thanks for the heads up, i did some searching around after reading your post, and apparently, nvidia cards can only support 2 screens at once even tho 3 ports were given, either "dvi + vga", "vga + hdmi" , "hdmi + dvi". hopefully it would be the same with my case, fingers crossed. great to know that nividia only support two. if not still a blur guy here. thanks.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 19 2011, 02:35 PM) I finally got the LG IPS236V-PN but haven't tried it out because the seller sealed it in a box. I wanted to get the Dell's U2312HM but this LG was sold to me at RM 450 for a month old usage. 3 years warranty. The price was difficult to resist. Can't wait to try out tonight. So how is the LG IPS. Is it that good!
