Hi guys, almost a week now in perth on job hunting. Market pretty slow and people here tend to wait for election so far.
Sent so many jobs application and getting interview next week. Hopefully can succeed. if not, have to work odd job to survive...
Seems everyone is jobless here...engineers everywhere...o_O

I'm in construction industry specialised in Quantity Surveyor. As far i know, if you have no local experience, you have to start from zero. Come early or later, still start all over again. I took decision to come early for my children future education sake.
So far applied like 50 over application, 10 got rejected, 2 got interview. I think the market is damn slow.
I know some angmoh who work as manager just at 25yo. 5 years exp and dunno shit. Salary hitting AUD90k/annum & above.
I think malaysian got more capability than them. Getting the 1st job is a huge challenge. Take watever junior job. after 2-3 years the salary will shoot 40% up.
Ozzie pretty glamour their local exp. and software. What you learn or work in malaysia might not really work here. So, be prepare my friend
