hi all,

my wife (who has a general bachelor degree but no working experience) is eager to settle in Australia for a few years (she is 40)

reading through a bit in the forum, i guess it will be a no go but i see a lot of people are saying nursing is in high demand in Australia and would easily get in

1. is this situation still valid?
2. if yes, if she graduate from nursing school with no experience, can get a job there? or experience is a must?
3. any idea where to ask or where to look for more details?
4. can really survive with just a nursing job?

thanks for your assistance

depends on what visa you are applying, if you are going via skilled migration, you won't get any points for work experience but you will for the degree, as long as you have 60 points, you are good to go
info overload here tongue.gif

and job security is a subjective thing... some find one in a week, some take 6 months...

and survival is also subjective to individual lifestyle...

thanks for the info

are there any valid agency in malaysia we can ask?

because my wife plan to take up a course for this sole purpose. we don't want to waste her effort and money

plenty, they will first go through your profile and see which visa suits you, usually the first consultation is free...

choose wisely and ensure the agent is a certified MARA agent

be clear on your purpose of going to Aussie else it will be difficult to choose since there are over 100 visa options laugh.gif
