How is it's sound signature? How much is it?

Using a low cost Analog Devices SHARC DSP and a 192kHz/32bit CMedia USB Audio controller are interesting.

Others are standard issue design,but the headphone amplifier look beefy,OPAMP+buffer,should drive many headphones well.

how to see if the design is good?? sorry electronic noob here hehe

The DAC is different, PCM1795 instead of PCM1792 on STX but the spec is pretty similar but it support the Analog Device ADSP-21261 32-bit output. The specs of all the core components used is excellent, the datasheet suggest the DSP also could support all the movie sound decoder such as Dolby Digital stuff, DTS-ES and Dolby Matrix and Pro Logic, but why on Earth they skimp on NE5532 opamp is beyond my reasoning, probably that's why its socketed. Output opamp is still the same LM4562

is it already available in malaysia??

judging from initial speculations of the price which is said to be in the range of 400~500 dollars, it's not gonna be cheap in malaysia >"<

oh wow, its like asus is playing audiophile santa and making your wishlist come true with this dac/amp combo. catered swappable opamps for solid states? not too often you get that kinda customizability treatment for solid state products.
would definitely keep an eye on this in the future when im moving on heh heh

now if they allow amp bypass for pure dac feature, so you can use your own amp, that would be almost a perfect dac! XD
oh i wonder how its dac/amp or pure amp (again, if they allow such feature) compares with my current govibe peak lol
