hi guys, after read all those comments here, i,m wondering.. if i,m not mistaken
is that true all major shop here in malaysia are selling ps2 with clone modded chip
by the way how i can get one.. just wish to replace my current ps2 (SLIM) moddedchip with something new
and also plan to take it to the limit...

hey guys, i have a problem wif my ps2 slim.when i want to go into the Browser, to get into the memory card to delete some things. Everytime i try to get in. the PS2 hangs. BUT i can still load and save during gameplay..Any suggestions?Thanks guys

Added on March 31, 2007, 1:05 amahhh one more thing to add..i tested with a PS1 card it works..it can load and copy and delete wif the Browser no problems.

guys..i bought my slim ps2 from europe (PAL version). could i play games in malaysia?
is there any prob (like television format prob maybe), since i dont want to change the original chip into modded chip.

Most of the tv now have auto select for NTSC and PAL or u can change it manually. So u dont have to worry about this..unless u're using old tv set. But i think originally malaysia's display was PAL?

Erm...original chip? U dont mean modchip rite since original PS2 doenst have that. Without modchip, u cant play backup or pirated games, only originals...is that what u mean.

about the tv , i don't think tere any problem if your TV have auto select PAL & ntsc , if your tv don't have you need to change manualy .

original chip ?? i don't get it .
if you mod your ps2 with modchip you can play backup game & other regional game
if your ps2 not modded you can play original game same regional with your ps2.(ps2 pal can play only pal game)

i remember 8 years ago i'm gaming my aus ntsc ps1 with my very old 21" pal tv.the tv has no option to change to ntsc. screen black and white if playing ntsc game. but problem solved after i bought ntsc-pal converter box.

i dont think that kind of tv still exist nowadays..

i just downloaded the ps2 divx player called SMS
it is an elf file, how do i burn it into cd/dvd?
