well..what i used to do last time when i started to play for the backline is that i watch a lot and a lot of rugby games...ask them to watch which position that they play for...bring along a book or a notepad and jot down things that they do...this is what i called watch n learn..ask them to watch games like the new zealand,france,fiji..they have a good backline pattern play..backline moves are also important..as a manager cum coach,u shud be telling them what they should do...dictate them step by step..
for me,a lost of 33-0 to politeknik is a good result for a team who has never played before...
usually the score shud be like 50-60+ points against 0 for a new team..
may i ask for how long have you been managing the team?
and where is actually ur club is situated?
maybe our brother ben can give some contact numbers of his friends near to your club...
