Dear Weikee,

Basically, stainless steel 304 will not rust. Unless you damage its surface or pour the acid or chemical material on it.

Dear Phoenix69,

Thanks for your question. Basically, there have a few stainless steel that better than 304 and 316 as well. But we need to consider whether it is suitable to our products and the usage of our end customers. Therefore, we will not consider to use all of those stainless steel. Since different grade of stainless steel have different applications and usage in different industry. Some of them are suitable to the application of marine industry.

For instance,

1. Stainless steel 316N- Higher strength than standard 316 and 304.

2. Stainless steel 317L- Higher resistance to chlorides than 316L, but with similar resistance to stress corrosion cracking.

3. Stainless steel 904L-Much higher resistance to chlorides at elevated temperatures, with good formability.

4. Stainless steel 2205- Much higher resistance to chlorides at elevated temperatures, and higher strength than 316.

And more. If you interested, please click to link: http://www.azom.com/article.aspx?ArticleID=863

Furthermore, some of our bathroom accessories are made from stainless steel 304, but it didn't have any link with where we produce it. Because both of them are unrelated. Let say, even though our products are made from China, Hong Kong, india, Vietnam, Singapore and etc, but our bathroom accessories still definitely made from stainless steel 304. We will not simply change it.

Good saying smile.gif definitely the more high the better but considering the usage of industry whistling.gif From my experience of 2 years using 304 SS kitchen sink does not seen any rust from it too blush.gif so the manufacturing places does not play a factor but the stainless steel grade that matter icon_idea.gif
