QUOTE(Doom @ Mar 31 2007, 12:14 PM) Doom, to make the cable management of your PC-G7 better, i suggest you to turn your harddisk the other way around, by this, you could hide the sata & the power cable to face the other side. And by doing this, your cable management will be neater. I did that on my PC-G7, and it looks much much better. |

QUOTE(gengstapo @ Mar 31 2007, 04:11 PM) hehee.. im thinking the same Are you using the 90degrees sata cable?lastime ive oledi try this on my v1000 but aint working the sata port blocking my side panel & kenot be closed what a po0r v1000.. haizz Coz if you dont have that, then it's pretty hard to to put the hdd in the other way around. You can see that Doom is using the 90degrees sata cable, so it wouldn't be a problem for him to turn the HDD in the other way around. But, there's a problem with using this way of putting a HDD. By doing this, everytime you want to take out the HDD, you have to take out the other sidepanel. Its not a problem for me though as i seldom take out the HDD in my desktop pc. An External 2.5" is a good way to bring the files you want around the world. |

Doom, seriously, your CPU looks much much better compared to when the sata & the sata power cable is on the other side.
Look more smart + kemas. |

Thanks dude... still working on it ,,, maybe will sleeve the power, hdd and led cables Look more smart + kemas. QUOTE(kalakatu @ Apr 1 2007, 12:56 PM) but when u placed the hdd like that, i cannot be locked right? can be locked back with no problem, i mounted the screw on the center and rear holes of the HDD. i saw irangan's g7 with the same technic, and his hdd almost colide with his side panel.. i could even adjust by position how deep the HDD should go into the cage ... QUOTE(riku2replica @ Apr 1 2007, 12:58 PM) No need mod ... i only route to cables and manage it slowly to get the best results.. . |
