Because there is not enough of air flow within the case ...... the exhaust fan is not enough as ur chipset used heat pipe ... there is no moving air across the mobo area... ur gigabyte cooler fan is too low ...

so add a fan on the mosfet heatpipe???

actually the mobo comes with one ....the gigabyte cpu mosfet cooler i think more for show only.

hmmm so any recommendations??
*
It is recommended by some of the review on the mobo to have the fan installed to keep the chip set cool ... since we aren't staying in country that generally has lower temperature...

nice job as u surely did a lot of preparation for the move....

i am not sure got any other mosfet cooler ... as for chipset cooler u cool try Zalman fan less north or south bridge cooler ...... or u can try ThermalRight HR-05.

RM 500 consider quite a lot .... actually .... anyway maybe u could save up money and go for Switftech WC kit .... it's known for well performance...

Why not if it can help to reduce the temperature... as long as u dont mind the noise generated ... it should be fine...

sorry for miss understanding ....

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Dec 13 2006, 12:38 AM)
just wondering will that create like a pressure..

the fan is like on the top part northbridge i think and blows the air to the rear fan...while the other fan is like blowing into the pc i think...so like isnt there going to be like a high pressure area at the side???

the fan speed of the heatsink is like 2934 and the cpu is like 2014...

just wonderin

cause they cautioned that only install this on a passive cpu cooler or water cooling. problem is that this water cooling set comes with a mosfet cooler on the cpu water block.

so just hoping that i get an advice...

still new to all this techy stuff but willing to learn
*
Generally speaking if the fan running inside the case such as chipset and mosfet is pushing lower air flow than the exhaust fan . it should be fine ....

about ur CPU cooler that can cool of mosfet, i also noticed it when checking out a demo machine lately... it seems that the fan push lesser air. however if u have another fan attached to mosfet .... better siwtch off the original fan on CPU block if possible.,,,,

1st time trying cable management. Please comment. blush.gif  sweat.gif

I think u could do much more better with sleeving the power cable in black to match ur PSU.

besides that try to tie few cables that passed through the same area together so it look like one thick cable branches out few other cables.

other than that maybe u could try to re-route ur HDD and optical drive power cable so that it does not looks that obviously....

.... .... ...... ... .... ..... .... ...... .... .... .... ..... ...... ..... ...... .....

Thanks for the comment. I know sleeving is good but i don't have the time to do it. Maybe i'll send it to uncle Ian when i am free.

Btw, how to re-route the power cable? there isn't much space to work with in the tsunami dreams. Care to elaborate more? thanks.  notworthy.gif

If u can make custom cables for HDD drives , it would reduce the visibility of the cables....

or of course u can try the instaling the other way round method....

all up to u ... thumbup.gif

It is CM stacker older model ....

u can tie the cable or sleeve it into similar color or two contrast color....

too many colors usually end up with messy view although it is not that messy ..

better to use candle and set about 10cm of distance from the fire ..

let it shrink naturally.. it take few seconds before the heat shrink tighten...

patience.... key to success and make sure wear glove ... .

Actually candle is the best method i tried so far ... hair dryer only work on vantec heatshrink.... jalan pasar heatshrink i use candle as u could do it slowly..

anyway everyone has their own preference way in getting the same thing done....

nice job dude....but it would be so nice if the cables are sleeved.... i would very love to see it bro...

I can imagine How u r satisfied with that lian li casing..... rclxms.gif
*
Which cables that u think i should sleeve it ... ??? coz sleeving would be good for the look but it reduce the softness of the cable .. which mean difficult to bent ...

QUOTE(z3r0717 @ Jan 25 2007, 08:34 AM)
not bad not bad...
Man, how i love this case so much...
I'm soooooooooo ENVY of u.... Got to get myself one.. cry.gif
*
hmm... although it is good but using casing with separated compartment really require skill to hide the cable... it is not as easy as those standard classical edition from Lian Li ..

i think with those case i can even do better ... but for this case .. few cables are unavoidable...
