QUOTE(Zangetsu @ Nov 15 2007, 02:06 AM)
hahahaha Doom i bought it only rm340....just trying to feel how the perfoment so far sifoo ianho said its ok smile.gif) maybe later will get a better one for my second rig and hope this time can do it by my self...btw this is my idol water cooling system im trying to buy later

CPU Block: Swiftech Apogee GT
Pump: D-TEK dB-1 = (Swiftech MCP655-B/D5 Basic or MCP655/D5 Vario)
Radiator: Cool-Trek DP1202 (2x120mm)
Reservoir: Swiftech MCRES Micro
Tubing: 8feet Masterkleer 1/2" ID 3/4" OD

this spec of water cooling is ok or not Doom?gimme and idea plss really a newbie in this water cooling system need to read and learn more from the master smile.gif
*
Those are nice but I would recommend D-Tek Fuzion for the CPU block ..

coz I find Apogee GT doesn't works well on intel platform without bowing it ..

so on the safe side get a better block ... as for others they are just good enough ...

@Ianho ..
that's why I got asked about the price .. coz for RM350 then ok lah ...

as long as no leak then it would be fine...

@Zangetsu
Get a nice big case like Ian does, some WC stuffs with UV coolant, some aluminum fans, UV CCFL and nice Corsair HX PSU or other that u prefer...

That would build u a very good looking rig ... apart from that get hardware with black PCB ... that would be even better ... a complete look...

I think overall not bad loh ... coz that's the beauty of Lian Li case ...

Regarding Mushkin PSU .... stiffness of the cables was the reason I went for Corsair HX series ... slimmer and slightly more flexible ...

btw what's with the IDE cable ??? ?? that's for floppy drive ..

Yah agree .. the color scheme chosen by Asus is really sucky this round ...

Either black or gold ... would be a better color selection ...

Can't u just remove the fan ???

I know the fans help with cooling but is it necessary ... ??

Either way, could cable management u have done for ur boss. ....

Just try to tidy up all the cables hanging here and there ...

that should be all it needs to get things done..

That's absolutely over paid .... spent some times and learn from those that did well ...

That's the key to getting clean, neat and unique cable management. .

@limhongwoon

That's Lian Li original fan comes with the case ...

To manage cable management, u need basic tool like:

twist string, cable tie, cable tie base, sleeve and heat shrink.

To manage cable like pro, u need advance tool like:
Wires, wire cutter, wire crimp, connector, connector clips, soldering tool and etc ...

lowyat plaza only sell water cooling kit ... those weak performer ..

if u are serious about water cooling, never buy those ...

if u aren't serious enough for water cooling, don't even invest...

@lolhalol

you got ur point ... but i don't think RM300+ for a water cooling kit is worth dumping the money to try out the performance ...

not everyone could fork out that much for water cooling component..

that's why better be firm about the performance rather than investing that Rm300+ ...

I learned the lesson from TT WC crap ...

It's better get it right once than continues changing unless u want to learn the experience stage by stage...
