HERE you go for the IDE cable folding.
You could prepare some thin double sided tape, not those foam types. They could come handy |

QUOTE(akachester @ Apr 24 2007, 10:26 PM) Went to LYP today and i couldnt resist myself getting the Silverstone ST56F. And i thought i do not need to redo my cable management during my exam period. Anyway, i just try to do my best this time with some advice from Doom and mADmAN. This time, i tried to hide some of the cables at the 5.25" bay and try to take out as many casing cables as possible. This is my cable management redo. Please do give me some opinion if improvement can be done.Thanks.. Very Nice.Just wondering, how much you got the corsair RAM Cooling module? Sleeving those other cables in black would be nice. Go Go Go. And i think you could get those ribbon IDE and try folding it. It might looks better than the rounded IDE. AFAIK, there is IDE cable for 1 device. But, just dont think that CoolerMaster have those |

QUOTE(Doom @ May 3 2007, 12:51 AM) hmm i think it's always difficult to manage transparent case and this is on of those. oh well, the UV effect isnt that eye catching also I think the case should belong to UV thread rather than this topic .. sorry no offense coz the UV effect is much more eye catching than nice cable management.. Anyway, the definition of nice cable management is neat or well hidden? |

QUOTE(Doom @ May 3 2007, 01:08 AM) The definition definitely has something to do ..... with neat and hidden cables... neat and hidden?hmm .. i am just wondering the case owner show the photo here to ask for comment or just to show... Well, hidden is surely neat But neat wont surely be hidden It is kinda subjective lolz...wondering why my mind suddenly pops out such question |

QUOTE(xeda @ May 17 2007, 01:37 AM) it is already quite ok, not messy at least, neat.try to route the PCI-E converter cable to behind the 3.5" tray and make it straight looks a bit better i guess. It is up to you anyway, just satisfice yourself. |

QUOTE(Doom @ May 29 2007, 10:15 AM) What case is this bro ??? Kind tell much from the photo only.. the case should be a Soldam...anyway I think it's good enough already with so many HDDs inside .. unless u have long SATA cables and opening behind the HDD cage,, u could route the sata cables to the end of the cage and come out beside the dual fans,,, isn't that his SATA cable already very long as what we can see? And isn't that now the SATA cable already coming out beside the dual fan? Those black ones arent that visible...quite ok for me lol This post has been edited by LittleLinnet: May 29 2007, 01:39 PM |

it is not that recommended to use 1 IDE cable together with CD-ROM and HDD for performance. Especially when copying CD or burning CD.
But for ordinary usage, it wont affect much. |

QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Sep 19 2007, 11:44 PM) For you information, this is cable management thread anyway...i know you are right thoughyou are not running in Dual Channel mode. Dual Channel mode for your board is, one RAM at Orange Slot, another RAM at Green Slot. No one realize it ??? But then, i noticed one thing, i noticed that his 12CM exhaust fan is powered out of the molex port at his mobo... I thought that was supposed going to be input and not output? |
