any comments are welcomed to improve the tidyness..  but I gez I haf to make my fren visit this thread coz I ain't going to Melaka juz to tidy up his cable... ahhahaha.. jk jk  icon_rolleyes.gif

kenot oredi.. coz the hdd IDE is not dat long, n already been twisted(to make it look round) by the owner. rounded cable indeed then...
he oredi gave me his ccfls... dat, I'm not sure y.. but he's not a UV enthusiast anyway.. r u, disket? he juz wanted me to spank all his cacings oni.. but for future expansion, make all the sleeve UV-ready.. ewah~

I wonder if anyone had tried to make their custom ide cable.. do u think it can be done? I went to n electronic shop @ Jln Pasar, found lotsa wide-cable-ribbon(the one like IDE cable) there.. any worklogs dat i can refer to guys?

p/s: i wonder if he wanna give a say here.. kamon baby, u can do it... kamon la disket.  rolleyes.gif
*

you can slice those ribbon IDE cable and then tie them up just like rounded IDE cable though

That's why it is easier to heat shrink them sleeve since u dont need to remove the molex connector ..... while heat shrink only need to get the desired size only ...

getting black heat shrink is easy men , any size but only one color....

lolx...i dont understand what are you trying to say

HERE you go for the IDE cable folding.

You could prepare some thin double sided tape, not those foam types.
They could come handy

Went to LYP today and i couldnt resist myself getting the Silverstone ST56F. And i thought i do not need to redo my cable management during my exam period. Anyway, i just try to do my best this time with some advice from Doom and mADmAN. This time, i tried to hide some of the cables at the 5.25" bay and try to take out as many casing cables as possible. This is my cable management redo. Please do give me some opinion if improvement can be done.Thanks..

Very Nice.
Just wondering, how much you got the corsair RAM Cooling module?

Sleeving those other cables in black would be nice. Go Go Go.
And i think you could get those ribbon IDE and try folding it.
It might looks better than the rounded IDE.

AFAIK, there is IDE cable for 1 device. But, just dont think that CoolerMaster have those

hmm i think it's always difficult to manage transparent case and this is on of those.

I think the case should belong to UV thread rather than this topic ..

sorry no offense coz the UV effect is much more eye catching than nice cable management..
*
oh well, the UV effect isnt that eye catching also laugh.gif

Anyway, the definition of nice cable management is neat or well hidden?

The definition definitely has something to do ..... with neat and hidden cables...

hmm .. i am just wondering the case owner show the photo here to ask for comment or just to show...

neat and hidden?

Well, hidden is surely neat
But neat wont surely be hidden
It is kinda subjective lolz...wondering why my mind suddenly pops out such question

it is already quite ok, not messy at least, neat.

try to route the PCI-E converter cable to behind the 3.5" tray and make it straight looks a bit better i guess.
It is up to you anyway, just satisfice yourself.

have anyone try to extend his ccfl cable that connect to the inverter?

Well, mADmAN did.
Some are successful while some are of CCFL become dimmer while some of CCFL just lit up half

What case is this bro ??? Kind tell much from the photo only..

anyway I think it's good enough already with so many HDDs inside ..

unless u have long SATA cables and opening behind the HDD cage,, u could route the sata cables to the end of the cage and come out beside the dual fans,,,
*
the case should be a Soldam...

isn't that his SATA cable already very long as what we can see?
And isn't that now the SATA cable already coming out beside the dual fan?
Those black ones arent that visible...quite ok for me lol

it is not that recommended to use 1 IDE cable together with CD-ROM and HDD for performance. Especially when copying CD or burning CD.
But for ordinary usage, it wont affect much.

For you information,
you are not running in Dual Channel mode.

Dual Channel mode for your board is,
one RAM at Orange Slot,
another RAM at Green Slot.

No one realize it ???  doh.gif
*
this is cable management thread anyway...i know you are right though

But then, i noticed one thing, i noticed that his 12CM exhaust fan is powered out of the molex port at his mobo...
I thought that was supposed going to be input and not output?
