the outside part or inside part? thanks  thumbup.gif
*
take it out...
put in small container...put tap water....add some clorox...
let it about 10 mins, depends on how much u put clorox...
after that rinse ur diffuser put it back in tank.....

from my exp.
inline diffuser better than reactor n glass diffuser

Also anyone know how to remove the black looking algae that stick hard on the aquarium glass after few days of applying Iron supplement? it is driving me crazy... tried algae remover... but several ghost shrimp and chinese algae eater down might be due to algae poisoning.....
*

ciohbu & sisaiko: See all those brown looking spots around the aqurium glass?? the major one is the patch.... been like that about 1 week + growing slowly... compare to that day i dump in iron supplement.... BTW from eye view those are dark blue/ black/ dark green.... don't know how to describe.. just the color looks like chinese ink...
*
not sure how to remove it...try shoot excel directly to it...
or try using razor blade

what kind of string your guys used to tied the plants to d.wood/rock...

some said used nylon fishing string...
nice an invincible...

some said better used cotton string...
it will degrade after some time and will not restrained the plants from growing...

myself some time used hot glue...
but if you put too much...it will kill your plants...
*
depend on the plant type....
moss usually im using cotton string(if u ask aunty at the benang shop, the secondary school pants color they shud gave it the right color), but the best still the ADA moss cotton, it really disappeared after period of time or u can visit local pharmacy and ask the surgical string

for mini pelia, fern or nana, im using fishing string....

use net for riccia....

never experience glue... smile.gif
but taikor usually use this super glue

DIY liquid carbon? do it by yourself? will googling
for sell also can pm me the price.  brows.gif
*
my fren done it for me....he has master in aqua bio
so this tank more for experimenting....DIY fert, DIY liq carbon n LED
so far the flora(JHG) & fauna(ember tetra, brigattae n shrimps r surviving)

no plan to sell it since it still under testing...perhaps later...

p.s: the DIY liquid carbon very high concetration.....its 99% chemical n 1%water....vice versa in the market liquid carbon....

wahhh.. i think i know who tis guy is la

btw i also have algae problem. hairy algae can be seen on leaf and stem.

i've dump in 3 amano, 1 otto and one SAE. hopefully they can clear it up

wats the diff between CAE, SAE n flying fox ? they look the same to me ?

I also have a snail problem in my shrimp tank courtesy of the lsh i think

realise the lfs kept snails together with the shrimp

should i let it grow to pick on them ?
*
huhu, my diy fert came from other fren, liq carbon guy mayb u know him but he no longer here

i think u cant confuse between cae n sae, sae n flying fox perhaps
cae is orange yellow color, if u hv small tank it not recommended. it will grow big n like to disturb soil
otto will not ear hair algae
sae n yamato hv hair algae as their meal
but im using malayan shrimp, me personally think its more efficient than yamato
i hv like 30 malayan army, 20 ottos in my 3 ft, but manual remove will diff helping them

snails not issue for shrimp tank, even amano tanks hv snails if u look closely
