Thermal paste i also not sure which one good, but my fren suggest tuniq x4 or something like that btw kgk did u tried gaming yet? mind share the settings and results? Added on August 21, 2011, 8:30 pmI tried assassin's creed brotherhood again. I dunno why but the thing just won't go smooth on default setting(around medium-high). Its like 2 seconds smooth, then 2 seconds like slight lag, then 2 seconds smooth again, then 2 seconds slight lag again. Can anyone help on this? i dont play game often, just mostly online, listen song, anime. but will try it if i have spare time for sure! sometime i will do video editing and converting, so i need i7, haha. That sounds like driver problem someone mention, wait for driver update bah.

Ok, i used Furmark to burn-in test the graphic and at the same time i burn the cpu too, the GPU stay stable at 85 degree, im doing this in non-aircond room and without any cooler.
GPU clock, Shader, Mem clock and all value remain constantly through out the test, so i dont think it is throttling.

Thanks bro! Added on August 21, 2011, 10:39 pmQUOTE(htpkevin @ Aug 21 2011, 10:37 PM) danm, i think mine one throttling ady. I ran furmark just now, then i monitor the graph. The thing is like at first it starts off with normal clock speed, then suddenly drop to very low(200+), then after some time it back to normal for a few second then drop again to very low@@. my temperature never go beyond 65 this time@@ How come? mine works without throttling! ur N55SF i5? what is ur BIOS ver? My results, » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I do wait for a long time, the graph is constant, and i decides to make the graph this shape by changing the clock speed during test. saves upload time, haha.

Hey guys, i found that N55SF i5 Subwoofer is different with N55SF i7 subwoofer! my cousin buy a N55SF i5 today, and i found that i5 coke can is heavier than i7, and sound also different, I7 Bass more louder, vibrate with higher amplitude, while i5 coke can bass sounds like deep bass, but with lower volume and less vibrate.
Anyway, both sounds good, just a little different, i5 sounds more round but i7 sounds more solid. Oh ya, outlook got change a bit at the top part, and the i5 "Sonic Master" logo is yellower than i7, i5 yellow, i7 dark gold.

QUOTE(lakost @ Aug 23 2011, 07:27 PM) Maybe. Its supposed to be same.If dun i dunno what Asus is thinking la. Even i5 N55 screen specs is not the same as advertised lol i think its v1 and v2, because when u open the sound very loud, i7 sub sometimes will over-vibrate until got a kind of plastic sound, i5 sub looks like solved that problem, by adding more weight on it.
