Hi,
my new Panasonic aircon (CSC9MKH) suddenly turned off by itself after 30-45 mins and the timer keeps on flashing. When it was turned on again after 30-45 mins it will turn off again and the timer keeps on flashing. anyone face this issue before, please tell me what's wrong with this aircon sad.gif

damn hate panasonic after sales service!. i just got it installed!

could be the thermocouple sensor (indoor) goes bad. try replacing it, or you can bypass it using regular resistor rated around 10K ohm. the compressor has an auto trip(outdoor) check that 1 too,..

Read the manual booklet it will tell you to press a certain button on the remote control and it will display an error code on the remote control.
I have the same problem before, the error code on remote control tells me that the refrigerant pressure is too low (not enough refrigerant)
Add more refrigerant and the problem solved. (to add refrigerant, you need to call aircond technician)

Panasonic aircond error code:

Mine was 5 years old when the same thing happened.

Called an aircon technician and got it fixed for RM120.

He told me it's a common problem with Panasonic aircon. Either thermostat or wiring problem. Mine was wiring problem.

Thermostat is cheap to fix but it requires the compressor to be dismantled and bring back to the workshop. They will not charge cheap for this problem.

I have the same problem.

Not sure if you issue is that same as what a friend of mine had with his.
In his case, it seems that the is some blockage in the condensation pipe. The water could not flow out and caused back flow and the aircon turn off itself to prevent damage. He finally got the back flow problem resolved and till now no issue of the aircon turning off itself.
You may want to see if this is also your problem.

And this is the same cause of my problem.

damn, the same problem just happened to my Panasonic aircond today. timer blink and aircond switched off by itself. not cold at all but can hear the compressor is running but without the usual pumping sound. already had issues of funny swishing sound when compressor run when it was newly installed. a few months later, the ionizer led did not light up. panasonic replaced the board. and now, 3 years later this timer blinking issue. my first Panasonic aircond also broke down after about 3 years plus.. pcb problem and now this 2nd panasonic also break down after 3 years plus. no more Panasonic aircond from now on.
