Haha because i am a science student and there's only two field i can go right? engineering or med... not smart enough to compete with those medical student then come engineering .Plus i like physic more than bio... but maybe i will consider bio engineering also but don't know what is the requirement looking though the forum for engineering stuff now . I don't get what is is ipts and only diploma student get credit transfer or other pre-u also?
*
You don't really have to limit yourself into Engineering or Med. You have to know what and which field you really interested in before proceeding to taking the course. Like what already mentioned by our fellow LYN members, you really needs a lot of passion if you were to study Engineering courses. There are plenty of Engineering courses out there and each have its own major too.

IPTS (Institut Pengajian Tinggi Swasta) opposite of IPTA (Institut Pengajian Tinggi Awam). Swasta is private, Awam is local (supported by Government funding).

You spell relevant wrongly, still dare to say it is relevant.

I bet you have some ideas in choosing which engineering.

Kay =.=" i have problem with spelling,I know the few popular course like the one named but the problem is i don't know what are the courses like for example i just read a post about chemical engineering from i gather is that chemical engineering you only need to know little about chem and phy and must be exceptionally well in maths.I was considering chemical engineering a while back but after reading that i am having a bit of doubt .. so. hum i guess i have to do more reading and research to find out while course is most suitable for me.

Yes, you should do more research. Beside Google, you can always go to talks/Education Fair/Uni Open day to gain more understanding on each courses.

And try to see what each course will lead you to- what you going to do after graduated from that particular course.

u're missing the point.

yes, mechanical engineers are the people who designs engines etc. with enough expertise, they could design an entire factory of engines should they wish to.

but then there's the limitations of practicing locally. in malaysia, u wont get that kind of opportunity. it depends on ultimately on u. my cousin studied aeronatic engineering for 4 years, but eventually he ended up working with tractors malaysia maintaining those big construction machines.

u have to face the realities of the profession, kid. u may dream to become an astronaut, but really, how many astronauts do u see walking around today?

That is what I felt too for this KID, seems like he just throw a generic question and ask everyone to answer him and dont even bother to take note.
