As long as ur brother or ur mom can handle it, play with it then ur hedgie will be tame and won't poke u when u place ur hand near him. Sometimes it's not about the bond but to tame as well

be sure to get the necessities such as bedding / feed / misc before jumping the gun.such mentioned goods are transferable but if you change your mind after getting the hog, well that's just irresponsible now isn't it

I would advise against getting a box where the hedgehog can climb out. I've had my share of poo & pee all over the kitchen floor because Huffster will always escape from his previous cage (the first picture with the mini playpen).

Before I extended the height using the steel wiring, he climbed out. After I extended it, he went UNDER the playpen.    They're very smart little creatures.

Then I changed his cage to a Toyogo box and put in a shoe box as his hide-box. He climbed on top of the shoe box and jump out of his cage, into my female hedgehog's cage (my mum placed the two Toyogo boxes next to each other).

That's how I ended up with Chubster having three babies. 

He's such a troublemaker.

You meant the woody pet bedding?

I'm using wood litter bedding for my hedgie only in his litter pan, cuz I'm using fleece bedding for him. And he's potty trained!!! I think it's safe, but I don't know which pellet bedding you're talking about.

When I got my hedgie on the first day he don't poo and pee much also but he ate alot, I'm not sure about him shaking. Maybe he don't get used to the environment? Or he's cold? Or you could try to calm him down.

Take him to the vet or ask your breeder? Or maybe your hedgehog has been trying to hibernate OR could have Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome? I'm just guessing. Ya, I think the pellet litter should be fine. But you gotta take him to the vet asap to check. Try to take him to some quiet and warm places.

i think i have seen sum1 using grasses as the bedding, but i forgot where, can sum1 enlighten me what is the grass, for the bedding.....

i think its green but the 1 selling st pet store, the hay is for eating if nt mistaken........playsand? y u need playsand for?

I am seriously thinking about having hedgehogs. I had one previously, Tubby. Had him for 3 years, he died early this year. I miss his company.

Will it be advisable to have them in pair? Same gender or 2 different genders?
