Also, try waking her up by offering a super worm or her fav snack, BRIBERY WORKS!
My Daisy will eagerly come to the side of the cage when she hears me coming, coz she knows that i have some treats for her!!

Hi got some questions

1) Is it dangerous? LIke if feel threaten cos not familiar wif u then bite u or something?

2) When taking it out from cage to cuddle it, will it run away and hide in almari or something that u wont be able find it anymore?

poke u mean use the needle at the back? if accident touch the needle will i get bleeding? oso will it shoot the needle like watch some cartoon?

hahhaha, as ix3Rukia said, that's porcupine, which is poisonous spine and illegal to keep  accidentally if ur hedgie jump n the quill cucuk right angle then u will bleed, bt most of the time, nolah, cannot bleed

buy in JB lor then take it bac when the semester ends, easier  if realli want to drive, then there's no choice ald, just drive lor

mine lagi teruk, cannot even handle 15 minutes drive......i need toi bring it back to Kedah wif me this October, dunnno how oso

My hedgie always hide herself, only normally wont come out when got ppl around the living room(altho the light is off) unless she is very very hungry .... coz there's one time my mom watch drama until 4am, then only hear her come out to eat.

she's too shy already la..

but I found out she wont have car sick...i brought her to my bf house i went for vacation...

during that 30min driving time, she was playing happily with her wheel... when i stop at the traffic light , i can hear the wheel stopped and she ran back to her "house"...same happened when i bring her back home.

i guess she prefer bumpy bumpy feel in the car than quiet peaceful feel in my house

Like everyone else has said, your parents just don't want you to have a pet hedgehog.

(I knew my mum would not let me get a hedgehog as well so I bought one & didn't tell her till the day I brought Huffy home  )

My parents believe in this whole feng shui thing but they never mentioned hedgehogs having any influence on feng shui.

the enclosure, wat will be under it? like mine, he likes to poo at the corner, so he will scratch till the newspaper koyak then pee n poo there, run up again....so is there aniting under the enclosure? or the light too bright?

As i use A4 papers for bedding thn he seems to move n koyak sometimes but he won't stop digging even the paper have move aside and there he starts to bleed...

U guys didn't provide any hide box for your hedgie? Like what I did, just an ice-cream container with a piece of fleece solve any digging problem... What's more hurting themselves...lol

i think lil's going through puberty. she seems snappier lately, like she'll huff when i want to pick her up but after actually picking her up she'll stop and start to look around ._.
