i'm also using wireless acctually on my PC. but i am using PCI card wireless. ping does not go above 1ms if i ping router. when i ping dns it doesnt go above 20. Maybe its just my area nice feng sui, coz my other pc using wireless and nearer using the same device, has crappy connection and dropping packets a lot.

Huh. I'm also using wireless, N speed. But my net connection using Unifi. No issues as far as online is concerned.

The only problem with wifi is that as it travels wirelessly, you might lose the connection for a split milli-second.
Now this 0.01 drop is not important when browsing, but can result in lag. That's why wired is gooood. ...but if you don't have a choice, wireless is better than nothing of course. |
