Then it's a line issue. Probably you're dropping packets or whatever the term is (ie data not being sent over smoothly)

wifi is no no for gaming.....the fastest unifi will also be useless if ur wireless is not stable.....try cable bro.....then we can test again...

as long as there is no network cable connected to your rig, its wireless la.....

surprisingly, if you are really using wireless, its quite smooth....but then, change to cable la....much better as less latency

i also wan cable but cant. owner dun like. because router is on 2nd floor and my pc is 1st so if i use cable i need 20 meter cable...which i got but had to nail on wall which is not allowed.

but then i use rm39.9 USB wifi adapter. duno all the time i play quite smooth la... XD

for 2 months liao, in Steam server and SFIV. max speed i DDL for 1mb line is 150kb. which is same with cable.

You need 2 at least....about RM 80 each for the 200Mbps....

i'm also using wireless acctually on my PC. but i am using PCI card wireless. ping does not go above 1ms if i ping router. when i ping dns it doesnt go above 20. Maybe its just my area nice feng sui, coz my other pc using wireless and nearer using the same device, has crappy connection and dropping packets a lot.

Huh. I'm also using wireless, N speed. But my net connection using Unifi. No issues as far as online is concerned.

wireless is very highly dependent on your router, positioning, interference, wifi card, distance, etc etc....thats why we just use cable...lol

but i used wifi before too, and it works fine for gaming...but i still prefer cable...

The only problem with wifi is that as it travels wirelessly, you might lose the connection for a split milli-second.

Now this 0.01 drop is not important when browsing, but can result in lag. That's why wired is gooood.

...but if you don't have a choice, wireless is better than nothing of course.

True, never thought of using my PC for SSF4 acctually thats y i am stuck with wireless. i think it is time to change

will try a cat7, maybe can improve 0.0001 lantency
