boss, you got PM
Added on October 28, 2011, 12:24 amReceive the item on 25th and its wrapped in perfect bubble wrap.
however, due to transporting problem, there is a mark on the item.
Also, there is also a glue mark behind the speaker holes

feels a bit like getting cheated because product pictures does not show any indication regarding the mark.
I do understand this is OEM, but does other OEM have this kind of mark, i wouldn't know
please kindly check out the pictures of the items that you bought
p/s: check pictures without the iPad in it, hidden area might have something that "suprise" you
Added on October 31, 2011, 10.08 amOn the 29th of October, WimpyKid also known as Wong did call me and explain to me that I am not suppose to post the pictures of the glue mark in the forum.
He told me that I am not from the Sales line so I don't understand their working method.
A good example that he has given me... Apple selling iPhone will not mention that their Home button is faulty even though it does have problem.
Good huh?
But then, if Apple doesn't mention it, should he(WimpyKid) follow the same? but Apple does provide exchange or repair if the Home button is faulty.
However, WimpyKid mention that all their iPad2 Casing does have the glue mark. That means its not defect but its their manufactured "design". Please correct me I am wrong.
If it is their "design", at least let the buyers know, OEM product is not as good as ORIGINAL. Only buy if you accept it terms and conditions.
However, it is not mention anywhere. I do understand is OEM product, but does other OEM product have this or only "his" product have this? Only other buyers and sellers know.
WimpyKid did offer me an exchange, but as he mention, all the other of his products TOO have the glue mark, so no point exchanging... Am I right?
To be honest, I am not whining as I understand the quality of OEM products.
At the very least, let the buyers know that your product have a glue mark. I do not expect 100% like Ori. At least, no GLUE MARK please. just a smooth surface will do.
I hereby URGE all the other buyers, regardless buying from WimpyKid or other buyers, please check properly of the product before purchasing.
As I mention earlier, there might be some hidden "suprised"!!
Seller WimpyKid also added this line after calling me.
I would like to ask a question, is the glue mark on my iPad2 grey casing that I bought from you a manufacturing defect? or is a design failure that you hide from the buyers?
Or does posting the item can cause the inner part of the casing to defect causing the glue to appear? or the smooth skin came out because it was damage inside while it is being delivered?
Please pardon me if my words are harsh and straight to the point. We are all guys, we should go around in circles.
As i already said earlier, the grey case was from a different manufacturer and they have added a layer of glue at the inner part of the speaker area of the case. All the grey case in my office are the same. I have even snapped picture of the similar case and showed to you.
For your info i did not add the line "We will not take the responsibility to any item delay / damage / defect / lost / tax / duty" claim by you after having conversation with you for the exchange. It was already there all the time.
Please check with the moderator if i did.
What was added is " Incase of warranty claim. Buyer has to bear all postage charges"
Do you think i want to cheat you for a rm55 case with free screen protector and free postage?
Offered you an exchange also you don't want.
