hi all, i just bought a pair (female+male) robo hamster from B&D Aquatic Pets Shop in Ampang. but within one hour the male died (symptoms include hands & feet jerking around), i went back and the shop gave me a replacement, then today the female died out of a sudden. I do not understand why but can anybody give me some help or tips to care for them?

their home is a 30(W)30(H)20(D) cage with some wood pellet bedding, a training wheel, a second floor house, a food bowl, some cloth and a feeding bottle. i got them the Hagen hamster food and put it inside a tray.

not noisy at all... normal movements in the room, distant sound from the busy roads about 300m away.. or could it be due to the loud creak when i open my room door?

it was recommended by the shop keeper, he said the hamster will grind their teeth on it and eventually make it become tiny pieces. and i saw some in the original tank they were in.

my male robo lived a week already, and its getting used to shit in his little house
looking to find it a female partner, anybody got extra to give away?

he is very freaked out every time i put my hands into the cage. but it never shy away when i feed it freshly cut carrot strips. got a hamster ball from taobao, hoping to let it roam around my room next weekend

suddenly turned into food recipe discussion.. luckily is braised beef, not hamster

my roborovski until now still doesn't like to play with me. only show some interest in me when its feeding time

move on and get a chincilla? or get more roborovski?

A guy is giving away some robo, plan to get some companion for my lonely stud. Will it be too cramp if 2 male + 1 female stay in one 50x20x50cm cage?

hmm I just realized my male robo is bleeding a little on the right hind legs. could it be the female robo bite him? thought they were playing fine but sometimes they seem to be quite aggresive. I'm separating them for now.

The guy gatal also I open the cage then run out go hump the female.. now let them integrate first ba. After a week see how they react to reach other

The female is newly adopted. Before this he's living the bachelors life : lol:

Separated them with a wire cage for a week and reintegrated them yesterday. They seem to be playing along well and sharing food n cuddle together

Not sure about others.. I've only come across or heard about these two. I'm sure there are more. Usually I prefer to go and asks around in petshops before getting some treats though

pandera999 sifu is it normal that my hamster is picky with their food? They always leave behind the vege pellets.

Also how much should I feed them hamsters? I feed them once in the morning and night using the KFC coleslaw spoon but sometimes they cannot even finish and look as if they never touched the food.
