too active ?   well, u must clean their place often.. twice a week or once a week. then, supply give some their fav food. that sunflower seed. sometimes, give them eat that worms.. protein worm..  give them eat 2 times a day.. morning and supper time..    they sure sleep during day time. eating during evening time.. and look for food nxt morning cz mid of nite they very active.

Hey guys, just got a Syrian hamster yesterday. Now he's currently living in 2 cardboxes combined together. For me, I think it's okok for him but not the recommended size, havent found a box bigger yet. Anyways... I know we're supposed to leave them alone for these few days, but today (2nd day) when i went to check on him, I saw one corner of the box scratched out. Is this okay? D: [attachmentid=4309257]

Or should I stop using cardboard boxes as a cage? If yes, then where can I get a plastic bin big enough for a syrian hamster? IKEA?

Hahah sry, first time getting a hamster. Somemore it's a syrian hamster, so normal hamster cages wouldn't be suitable for it. You got any pics you could share? :3

Not merajuk... just one day I need to bring them to somewhere, put in the car and the bottom of the cage came off    Only get to catch the younger one but the elder one went missing lol...the 2nd night only know to make a trap then he successfully fell into it.
Since then they no longer bro bro T_T

today told my wife wanna take hedgehog as pet, but since it hard to find my wife told me she want to have hamster as pet..any tips and recommend for new comer? i never have hamster as pet before, only bela fish and bird..appreciate for tips like:

a) what breed suitable as 1st hamster
b) range of price
c) cage
d) food

if got people wanna let go hamster for adoption also i will think about it
