I am superb mad with my hamster boi. i went on a vacation for two days and he bit a hole through his storage bin cage. he managed to knock off the water bottle and bit a very big hole for himself to escape. mad hamster. i wanna barbecue him already. and feed him to my dog. always so mischievous. *muka pissed*

@infernoaswen,tank is too heavy and so not convenient for me to carry around. i stay in hostel. and i go back hometown during the weekend. i need to carry them back as i cant leave them in hostel for the weekend.

@Ronald_loulan,congrats on the babies.

i scolded my boi and he acted all guilty. lying at a corner there. hmmph.. figuring a way to cover up the hole.

Nekochan, nice blog there. I wanted to start a blog of my dogs and hamsters too. but i am just too lazy to update the blog. so i abandoned the idea.

@Ronald_loulan, sorry for the loss. u will be more lucky with babies next time. mine ate all her pups too during her first time being a mummy.

^ maybe the shopkeepers are too busy to restock the food. after CNY maybe only they will restock them. u can ask them when they will restock their supplies, some will kindly tell u.
i agree that most ppl owes think that animals can eat expiry food. whatever that expires in the house goes to the dog bowl. doesn't surprised me to find the sale assistant saying that. if u really cant get them n u need it already, u may wanna try burp

^ i saw cannibals too at a petshop here in ipoh. half eaten body lying there. Syrian hamsters. so scary. Initially wanted to get a hamster then, but it totally turn me off and i didn't get one. Felt so bad that day.

biter? i thought the smaller hamsters are more of a biter. haha.. i like syrians becoz they are big enof for me to hold them and pinch their cheeks. hahahaha.. i find small hamsters too fast for me to handle though they are really cute.

never had robo before. but i find them really cute. esp wen they are so many of them together snuggling to sleep at the petshop. so adorable. but they run so fast! i bet i will be chasing after them in my room if i let them out to roam about. haha.. at least syrian is easier for me to catch back. would love to have robo next time

^ what kinda wheel is that? usually cages come with a wheel wer there is a knob behind and u can just fix the wheel anywer as long as there are metal bars. if urs is not that kind then maybe u nid to apply some oil like what babybb says. or u can check the connection of the wheel. sometimes bad connection causes the wheel to stuck too.

hamster does shit when he is scared. bcoz mine does. he shit while lying down wen i scold him

i adopted a poor robo today. as in just now. the previous owner was like. worse case ever. the poor baby was kept in a cake box with a bowl of water where tortoise food is in it as well. i swear a few more day later the baby will die. i have to go out later to get the baby a water bottle. robo is so cute n tiny. i have never handle one before. i have always been a syrian fan. the baby jumps so fast and runs very very fast. cant get to hold it yet!!

^ i find myself taming syrian more easily then this cutie robo here. can't get hold of her. she is so so so afraid of everything. when i open my packet of hamster food, the plastic sound startled her.

^^ i was trying to say a plastic bowl from kfc mash potato with water mix with tortoise pellets in it. i don't find it okay to feed a hamster that way. maybe some people may think it is okay. but i don't think that way.

^ true. the whole place was wet. and magazine papers were used as shaving. haha..

good that you found them! i once lost my hammie too. he went down the water pipe of an abandoned toilet. i waited for him to come out for 3 days. i thought i am losing him for good. i was so upset and on the third day, when i return to my room, he was there waiting for me. right in front of my door. i guess he was super hungry.
