I have a Maybank savings account, and assuming I managed to get a Maybank CC, would it be possible to set some kind of Payment Instruction for my CC bill to be auto-swept from my savings account.
*
Auto payment of credit card bill using same bank's savings/current account is USUALLY free of charge.
I am not sure about Maybank.

Yes this is possible via "spoofing" the phone number. The other party is using an IP based phone system to accomplish this. So anyone programmed into their phone the bank's known numbers still need to be careful.

As what Gen-X said - reverse the identification process as well and they should be able to tell you things which they should know.

I don't think that is a good question because that info usually needs to be provided to many type of new application like for example Unifi.

You work fast. Yah, nowadays the cashiers hardly check the signature.
Any outcome from the hypermarket?
And with you gathering all the evidence, the police don't have much to do except to identify the person and then go nab him/her.
*
Yesterday I topped up my TnG at SenQ, the staff did verify my signature with my cc, which I think is good practice.

I can confirm that no formal letter on the cancellation will be sent out.
*
In my experience, I did receive official letter regarding card cancellation from DirectAccess and HLB.

On the other hand, Citibank, HSBC and SCB did not send me any letter after cancelled their cards.

Anyway, things may change. I'm just speaking from my experience.
